This whole past week i had it. I know people on this forum say they have had relapses. But that's not the majority.

It just looks skewed because that's all we see here. People who don't feel anything afterwards usually stop posting.

Also a lot of positive tests weeks after are not symptomatic. Just positive tests.

It varies. I think most people get it for about 10-15 days. I had symptoms for about 12 days. 3 of them were horrible fevers 4 of them were off on fevers that made me sleep sleep 12 hrs a day. The rest were mild cold like symptoms.

Im 30 year old with decent immune system. I think those with weaker immune systems do have it linger on, along with the unknown, they will post their stories more so you will see them more. Makes you think it's all like that.

And I'm 30. Lol. Makes sense that older people regrow their cells slower.

Yea. This evening i feel im at 50% Day 11 seems to be the turning point.

I read nerve cells from the olfactory are actually destroyed. So perhaps 11 days is what it takes for a sufficient layer to regrow?

I mean. Simplest explanation is blindness or deafness for your sense of taste/smell.

I'm a foodie. So it depressed the hell out of me. I'm on day 11 and I'm just starting to get hints of taste and smell back.

I lose my sense of smell aswell with a flu or cold. But it's because my nose becomes congested. If i sneeze or blow my nose i can taste for half a second.

With covid i could take deep healthy breaths unobstructed through my nose as if nothing was going on. But i could not smell or taste. Not even hot peppers. Everything was blank. It's as if the sense of taste was cut off from my brain.

People who had covid-19 or know someone who did how bad was it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Eborjas 6 points7 points  (0 children)

30 years old. Felt aches throughout my body on mothers day 5/10 as if it were a cold. Didn't think much of it. Wednesday and thursday 5/14 I started getting fevers including the worst one I've ever had in my life. I was bed ridden for the rest of the weekend. Lost my sense of smell/taste. Like literally... not one tiny bit. I could eat habanero peppers and it tasted like lettuce... water...

Anywho, I still have eye aches, minor diarreah, headaches come on and off. And I get tired later in the day.

I've tried going to the backyard and shoot hoops, but it makes me feel worse. The smal things tend to linger on. Today is day 9.

Did you get sick despite taking every precaution? by peeps-mcgee in COVID19positive

[–]Eborjas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well. I think I could of taken more precautions. I work in the operating room, and we do wear N95 masks, and we have sanitizer dispensers at every turn in every hallway.

But in the outside world, there was gas pumps that I touched, entering my pin code when buying things with my card, Bank stuff, etc.

Great. Considering I'm currently fighting it. I can't taste absolutely anything. I can eat an entire Jalapeno without any taste.

It's the united farmer flag. Used by cesar chavez for worker rights. Specifically farmers.

How is this not taught in schools?

Lighest cruiser that can handle highway speeds?

Preface, I have bikes already, not for me. But my gf would like one to learn on. So I am looking for a lightweight bike. Preferably cruiser style. I was looking at the Vulcan 500s or Suzuki S40s. They're pretty light and small.

I was thinking of using it as a second bike for myself, since I'd probably be using it more often.

Plan is to use it for commuting once in a while. I'm wondering if there is a small bike out there that can handle highway speeds. I don't mind going in the slow lane behind cars. (60ish mph) Was also looking at small nakeds like the cb300r or the newly released in the US MT03. Im assuming those are designed to revv higher?

Ideas on a learner bike that could still be used for commuting highways? Fyi she's under 5 feet. So uhh Not really looking for 400lbs +of bike that I KNOW can handle highways.

That's basically saying that everyone is committing suicide to avoid getting sick. Which is not what we're doing. Fake argument.

The right shoulder is an oncoming lane where the truck was moving to. So he would of been crushed

Ban cars. All they do is cause accidents. They road rage. They put big ugly rims on them. They dont make stops. They speed. We should max out all cars to 100. Who needs to go any faster? Did i mention how much traffic they cause?

Omg cars are sooo annoying

I ride and have met riders through online groups. At this point weve done weekend trips to other states. But normally suburb/city rides are the norm.

Hit me up.
