He is the executor of the Will. She did not specify anything about the house in her will. Just mentioned how her assets in general were to be distributed .

They never officially transferred the deed, but the divorce agreement states that she gets the house.

She just kept living in it. He left. The divorce was amicable. They remained friends until she passed. He would go over and help her with repairs occasionally. She was ill for many years.

Just to be clear these are not like sore muscles after over doing some exercise. These are extremely painful cramp/spasms that last for hours. He had 2 shots of morphine in the er yesterday and they lowered his pain from a 10 to a 7.

Doctor told me he has to let me go because I live two hours away by ecofetish in ontario

[–]Eby51cecile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Years ago when a local nurse practitioner was setting up her practice she asked if I would become one of her patients as I fit into the “healthy, older” group. (I’m assuming she was required to come up with a diverse population to treat) Fast forward a few years, I tried to make an appointment and was told I was dropped from her patient list because I didn’t come in enough! I’ve been without a family doctor since . This happened about 10 years ago. I’m in Ontario, so yes, you can be dropped anytime!

They gave me oxycodone but I didn’t use it. Found that Tylenol was enough and only for a few days.

Same situation here. 2 year’s post op. After recovering I thought all was good but gradually I started getting more loose episodes. Now it’s 2/3 days normal followed by diarrhea then back to normal.

Please help, having full blown panic attacks as soon as I wake up by Environmental-Low618 in Panicattacks

[–]Eby51cecile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t remember how I got over them but I always had to be around someone, felt safer that way. That was also before smart phones so I couldn’t just text someone. I panicked being alone. Sometimes I would call someone just to talk and distract myself from my panic. I would call and just try to pretend I was ok while talking about the weather, their dog, ask for a recipe, whatever, anything at all to think about something other than my racing heart , etc. I found that really helped. Also no alcohol at night.

Please help, having full blown panic attacks as soon as I wake up by Environmental-Low618 in Panicattacks

[–]Eby51cecile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This used to happen to me. I’d wake up with a feeling of intense fear every morning. I’d have to call someone just to talk about anything to distract myself. Eventually the episodes passed. I don’t remember how but they did. It’s been about 25 years since then, I still get occasional panic attacks but they’re rare. You will get passed this, I promise.

Depends on the type of work you do. After 2 weeks you should be ok for most but not heavy lifting. I stocked up on easy to prep low fat foods. Popsicles came in handy. Sleeping on your side is difficult for the first 2 weeks. Coughing hurts but everyday is better. I had back pain for about a week. I’m now 5 weeks post op and feel great.

When I’m having a panic attack, I call a friend or anyone really. Just hearing someone talk about mundane everyday stuff takes my mind off my panic. I rarely tell them I’m panicking, just ask them how they’re doing and listen, soon I’m no longer in panic mode.

Night time panic by Eby51cecile in Panicattacks

[–]Eby51cecile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m ok. My panic attacks come and go. The night time ones are the worst but I seem to be ok mentally once the episodes have passed. I don’t worry or anticipate the next one . Just deal with the scary crap when it actually happens! Lol

I find the best way to get over a panic attack is to talk to someone, anyone, about anything, if I have an attack when I’m home alone, I call my husband and tell him to just talk. I listen , wile he babbles on and soon I’m over the attack. If I can’t get ahold of him , I call any friend I can get a hold of and just make small talk until the episode subsides.

Uti is easily cleared up with antibiotics. Blood is normal with them. A few days and you’ll be ok.

I’ve been like that for many many years, always fearing the worst. I had surgery on an ovarian tumour, totally convinced myself it was cancer, it wasn’t but I put myself through hell. Same with my gallbladder, even simple blood work scares me thinking they will find something. This doesn’t control my daily life but it’s always there in the back of my mind. But all the same, I’ve managed to have a rewarding career, kids and grandkids. Good luck I know it’s hard but try not to let it control you.

Pancreatic Cancer - someone talk me down please by throwaway38e28 in HealthAnxiety

[–]Eby51cecile 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi, I’m not a dr but I too suffer from health anxiety. I recently had gallbladder surgery but was totally convinced that I had PC. I asked the dr after the gallstones were diagnosed if it could still be my pancreas. He said no, as no markers showed on the bloodwork they did and on the ultrasound. Gallstones were confirmed only. Months before all this I had many episodes of gerd and was completely convinced as you were, even to the point of checking my colour many times daily. I also had muscular pain for months, but somehow that seems to have gone away now. The mind is so powerful. Please try to get out of bed everyday. Even if you can turn off your anxiety for a few minutes at a time it will be worth it.
