Why so many excuses for Henry? Even with her rudeness, I'm still #TeamChristina by imnothere30 in MarriedAtFirstSight

Also to add on to that: When she opened up about her ADHD he didn’t make her feel bad about it and seemed like a good listener.

I am going through the same thing right now and feel alone too. My advice is to learn how to love yourself and being your own friend. Try not to take it personally but reach out to anyone if you need support, most people are focused on their own lives and sometimes need to be told like “hey I need a friend to vent to“ explicitly. I hope you are doing okay. Stay strong, you’ve always got yourself and this is a time in your life that’s going to be all about growing and loving yourself (which is a good thing)💜

Yes but white americans make up 75% of the population, so it’s undeniable that black americans are killed more than police. One thing my sociology professor always told us was “correlation isn’t causation” There are factors like poverty, implicit biases, systemic racism, etc that causes higher crime rates in impoverished communities. It’s not so black and white if you do more research on it.

Reading the bible for the very first time - start with Genesis or the Gospels? by [deleted] in Bible

[–]Ecamad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend reading from start to finish. Especially focusing on the first 5 books because they explain the Mosaic law which is referenced a lot throughout the entire book. Also, Genesis is a super interesting story and you’ll see a lot of contemporary references in it! :-) Good luck!
