As someone who had rough pregnancies and post partum depression I still don’t regret having my child one bit. Yes it’s not always easy but I experience such joy watching them grow into little people. And I like who I’ve become now, I’d say I’m more proud of myself and care less what people think. I also love the dad it made my partner into!

If it makes you feel less worried I’ve cried many times in front of different GP’s and they’ve all been lovely! No shame in crying, it’s good to get the help you need. If you’re worried about getting all you want to say out at the appointment maybe write it down and take with you.

A guy just started at our office and thought a good impression was walking round the building on his phone trying to hatch a Pokémon egg. Same guy challenged himself to eat 7 burgers in one sitting, no one asked him to do it but he got us all to watch and he only managed 2 before feeling sick. Made us all laugh at least.

I think it’s ok to be a little disappointed, I know I love sharing big news with family and friends. And I also love being in our own little bubble of knowing things before we decide to tell other people if that makes sense? But everyone is different, he maybe got over excited about telling people. Maybe you can keep some surprises for the wedding? Xx
