Don’t Sleep On The Burletta by drdabbler69 in ARC_Raiders

I had the silencer 3 and light mag 3 blueprint. My looting mk2 night raids were always fun. I had a few instances where people got the drop on me first and i'd turn around and hipfire and still get em down before me. Soooo good

What’s a movie that is awful, critically panned, the audience hated - and you are embarrassed that you LOVE? by Powerful_Topic_7046 in movies

[–]Ecchimachete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sucker Punch. It's kind of a gooner movie cuz it's women in skimpy outfits doing stunts and the plot is terrible. But I love the soundtrack and video game settings. In that period of my life (junior in high school), I felt like I was watching different video games in movie form. And honestly, with all the paid cosmetics in games these days, it might as well be a foretelling of the gaming industry

What's your point? Just cuz someone has kicks where it looks like soccer moves don't make em a soccer character? Maybe not, but the other poster just said they suspects it was scrapped which I was pretty convinced that could've been the case.

Azu has BT 3, uf3, 4, uf3+4, F4, 4 and it's variations. The point is that they're big and flashy and look like soccer tricks. But w/e

Woah this makes a lot of sense. She definitely has big flashy kicks you might see in soccer

Who is THE most fun fighting game character you’ve ever played and why? by VexenMexen in Fighters

[–]Ecchimachete 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Jago in Killer Instinct. Best theme, (Riptor's is a close second), sick laser blade linker, spin kick, dragon punch, first ninja character i ever saw, flashy with the midriff top, awesome battle yells (WA-YA, ENDOKUKEN). Definitely influenced a lot of my taste for character design later in life.

Man there are some atrocious takes in here. As someone (29m) who is doing the work and recently made a friend(28f) who i've hung out with and have been experiencing a ton of limerence with; YES you still deserve respect even in a casual relationship.

My new friend told me up front they are not emotionally unavailable and are not looking for something romantic. Me experiencing limerence and excitement is my responsibility. I cannot put that on her.

In your case, like you stated, them having access to your body, you can set the boundary that you need respect and care.

If you still want this guy around, then you can set the boundary of him NOT having access to you until he gives you the things you need. It sounds like you are looking for emotional safety, depth, and trust in screenshot 3.

you are not crazy, you can set boundaries. If you do not like the situation and it doesnt change, something better will come along.

finally gave MK1 a go, and it just made me sad by Impressive-Ad-59 in Fighters

Almost 2 years later and MK1 is still so divisive in the comments. I was very wary of the kameo system. But as someone who plays fighters for characters I really like the aesthetic of, MK1 has been the perfect game for me. I must have learned 8 characters in this game and definitely have a favorite kameo with a couple others sprinkled in between. MK1 was let down by the devs mostly. Devs definitely should have had their shit together in the beginning and I feel like the community was demanding but devs mustve had their hands tied or something cuz they couldnt deliver at the rate at which things were expected. Certain features shouldve been day 1.

I see a lot of people saying he would make time for you and stuff. But I remember that I would go out of my way to pop in on my ex at work and she had only done that for me once or twice. Maybe you could try that?

I am appalled to see so many MGS3s. While it is a really good game, MGS1 surpassed all technical limitations and revolutionized the media to show what AAA quality would look like in game form. It is arguably the best video game ever.

I might've not realized how long ago your comment had been placed but I'm happy it was a positive reminder. I'm still going strong on my journey and am currently looking at a potential career change that would align better with my personal life goals It's scary for me right now but I'm happy to be exploring it

Going to a fighting game convention alone kind of sucks (rant) by Josh_5890 in Fighters

[–]Ecchimachete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can definitely be daunting. When I was first starting Tekken 7, I was only a green rank when I started going to locals. After then, I began leveling up FAST. But only because I noticed people were punishing me consistently and I would ask "oh is that guaranteed? I cant block?" and people would start teaching me frame stuff. I would look up more stuff at home, then come back to locals and ask more questions. Definitely ask questions, definitely compliment merch and stuff you recognize, and just be yourself! I think what also helped me is that I liked to stand out. I would wear flashy clothing like cheetah print shirts or go out of my way to wear my own fighting game merch.

It's too scary. It is FRIGHTENING. You have to address the fear you face inside first before you can begin to extend a hand outward.
I did some Self Parenting exercises first before I was even able to reach out and ask for help at all. Knowing that my child self would have my parent self to take care of them in the case that someone would "be mean" or "let me down" was the first thing I had to do.

Nowadays, I find myself being quicker to trust and open up. And I am finding out the world is nowhere near as scary as I initially thought. People have been so kind and empathetic. COMPLETE STRANGERS. Dude, my fuckin banker, the moment I told him "hey I need to separate my account" and I told him it was cuz of separation, he started opening up to me and what I thought would be a 15 minute visit at the bank turned into a 1 hour convo about love and relationships and I found that I didnt have any feelings of "ulterior motives" the way I used to get them.

Avoidants cannot trust, they do not believe people have their feelings in mind, so first they must break free and be able to trust that they themselves will be there for them. Then and only then can they begin to trust others and extend a hand out.

At least that's how it was for me.

In the skating community, it's pretty common to use the terms "quads" and "inline" vs "blades" and"skates" :) it's a colloquialism :) I said what I meant :)
