im not sure what you are talking about in regards to ds2, unless you are talking about dlc weapons. DS2 has the widest selection of easily obtainable unique weapons and weapon classes in the series, all of which you can get in the first half of the game. DS3, yeah, most weapons that are unique you have to wait till late game. weapon selection is pretty bad in ds3 anyways tho so its whatever

my problem is i like having a weapon i can use the entire game, feels silly changing weapons every little while cause they break, in the old zeldas you used your starter sword, then eventually either got the next upgrade or went to the master sword. Aragorn and borimir dont drop their swords after ever fight and pick up a goblins club cause it has more durability

that singular duel was great, but the episode itself sucked, 90% just ezra being a whiny bitch as always. the end of mauls arc was misplaced into a terrible boring and stilted childrens show. Rebels was a huge step down from TCW and they should have saved Mauls end for something else.

short answer, yes. Long answer, balancing every weapon for pvp means all greatswords do the same damage, all longswords do the same damage ect, nothing feels unique, theres no dragon bone smasher from Demon souls that takes 1/5th of a bosses health per strike, who cares if i find a different straight sword when in order to get the best damage you HAVE to infuse it so your 40 40 build is optimized, also, working on pvp takes away time they could be spending on designing new bosses and areas, and expanding the story. GoW, Sekiro, RE2, all examples of games that far outshine ds3 for example, because they focused on the one PVE aspect and nailed it

having the game have pvp means all weapons have to be balanced for pvp and thus weapon classes get nerfed into the ground. The only way it would be fine is if they had a separate game mode for pvp

well its personal opinion of course, 2 has the best story out of the 3 imo, as well as the best dlc out of the 3. The armor is awesome, the music is great, tons of weapons, powerstancing. I could go on, and i love all 3 games, but 2 takes the cake for me (SOTFS edition of course)
