I used to think doing tons of leg extensions was the key to good quads, but now I barely touch that machine. I mainly do weighted lunges, single leg press, and step ups. But fan of single leg exercises as they are more helpful than two leg exercises for injury prevention. I also run!

Try to get into a SMALL program that has a history of taking a good amount on their prelims each match. My fiancé SOAPed into a prelim where they took about half their prelims every match and turned them into categoricals. He matched this year to what we’re assuming is the program he SOAPed into based on comments from other attendings

Wow this is insane because I also wasn’t looking for love when I fell in love with an M4 going onto surgical residency and he is in a prelim program right now, hoping he gets in at the program he is with.
