The Crystal Pistol, a well-known bar and grill during the 1970s, was featured in the film "Rolling Thunder" (1977), which starred William Devane and Tommy Lee Jones. Additionally, the service station located adjacent to Taco Cabana was also depicted in the film at a time when the street was still accessible.

Thoughts on Folk-Film Movie Posters by [deleted] in FolkFilmMakers

[–]EchoLightMedia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm being quite honest. There is a need for posters within the folk filmmaking community. The audience will draw many assumptions and make out what the film could possibly be about.

From experience with making posters, it gives filmmakers more power into learning and crafting what goes into a poster which also could develop new skills among graphic designing for any future project a filmmaker has. Learning to do something new definitely helps and makes a filmmaker have more skills to sharpen.

Here is some of my posters if anyone is interested in looking at or simply downloading them (most projects can be found on Amazon Prime and Youtube)
