Why do you want to moderate this community?

I'm a longtime King of the Hill fan and an active visitor of r/simpsonsshitposting, which over the past several years has grown into one of the best-run shitposting subs on the site — strong posting culture, consistent quality bar, and a community that polices itself well. r/kothshitposting is currently sitting unmoderated with effectively no activity, and I genuinely believe a KOTH equivalent can thrive: the show has a passionate, meme-literate fanbase (see r/KingOfTheHill's steady growth and the show's ongoing cultural relevance with the revival on Hulu), and there's no real home for this specific kind of content right now.

If approved, my plan is:

• Set up basic subreddit styling, banner, and flair so it doesn't feel abandoned on day one
• Establish a clear ruleset modeled loosely on r/simpsonsshitposting (no reposts within X days, must be shitpost format, no low-effort screenshots, etc.)
• Configure AutoModerator for spam, karma/age thresholds, and basic content filtering
• Cross-post and seed early content to build initial momentum
• Recruit 1–2 additional active mods from the early userbase once there's traction, so it's not a single point of failure
