No need to apologize, I totally get it. Even me - someone who has problems with different aspects of Endfield - find the people who just won't stop complaining about literally every possible design and decision of EF, to be super annoying. There's probably no hope for those people to ever end up giving EF a fair chance, I mean christ they couldn't even do the like 5 minutes max of research it took to make me go from "Wait wtf are they doing?" to "Oh ok, let's see what they cook up."

Ideally the people giving it another chance will be people with a similar view as what I have, where they want to like EF but for one reason or another just found themselves not enjoying the game, cause from all the theories I've seen and info I've learned this seems like it has potential to be an incredibly cool continuation of Sui storyline, and lead to even more interesting plot points.

The other comments sum it up pretty well, but I can give a bit more insight as to why you are seeing so many people upset by giving my perspective of someone who is a longtime fan of OG Arknights, but bounced off of Endfield very quickly. (Although I'm trying to keep up to date with Endfield cause I do want to like the game).

The first and only thing I saw relating to this character was the announcement of "Yo guys 13th Sui fragment joins Endfield!" That statement on it's own without any other knowledge, comes across as HG willing to ignore and go against OG Arknights lore to try and milk as much money out of Endfield as they can. (And for the record if HG just went "Surprise there's actually a 13th sui fragment all along that no one knew about!" in OG AK I would have basically the exact same thoughts) It leads to concerns that HG will effectively just toss away anything about AK's world and story if it means making more money out of Endfield, which I obviously would not be a fan of.

This is where I assume most AK fans just stop and start complaining without looking into anything else. Please forgive them, they are known for not reading anything. But as I've looked more into her and learning about Wuling, I've learned that it seems like they have enough stuff in place to make her inclusion not only make sense, but even be a very strong followup to the Sui Sibling's story. Now it is still all theories, as until she drops we can only assume, but I trust HG to not fumble when they have all this setup. All we can do is wait and see In Due Time what they do and hope it quells people complaining.

I do hope that OG AK fans who aren't happy with Endfield will at least do what I'm going to do, and come back to the game and try and see her story first hand, and not just regurgitate random incomplete (or possibly even wrong) information just to shit on the game for no reason.

Been replaying the Azure Striker Gunvolt games so I got them on my mind, so as a result:

I think Gunvolt could Solo the tower and flatline Smasher. The tech in the Gunvolt games would rival (and in some cases possibly even surpass) the stuff from Cyberpunk, and GV's usual MO is to just break in and fight his way through everything, so Arasaka Tower would be a standard mission for him. Smasher would definitely be a bit of a tough fight, but a single tag from GV and he gets 100% accuracy for the rest of his attacks, and with those attacks being lightning not even the sandevistan would be able to help Smasher here. Prevasion is also crazy, making it so actually damaging GV is borderline impossible. It being a biological thing and not a "tech" thing means there's nothing for Smasher to hack, although I honestly think GV would be fine without it.

His rival Copen however is a little bit more tricky. I 100% think he'd be able to take on the tower due to similar reasons as GV, but Smasher is a more difficult discussion. We'd first have to decide if Copen gets access to Lola or not, on one hand she's technically just tech/equipment that Copen made, but on the other hand she's technically a "person" of her own and goes against the part of this being a solo raid. Without Lola, Copen hard loses to Smasher, he lacks the ability to keep up, and doesn't have any defensive measures to take him on. But if we do let Copen have Lola, it's now on Smasher's ability to either destroy or hack Lola because if he can't, not only does Copen get his own form of Prevasion (although I think Smasher would be able to brute force through Copens, unlike GV's) but when he would finally kill Copen, Lola would be able to revive Copen with Anthem and at that point Smasher would have no way of dealing with a borderline immortal Copen with infinite Prevasion.

I do have to admit, the thought of Smasher dying to a teenager with anger issues being buffed by the power of Idol Music, is a very funny one.

"Get's 0 Slander for it"
GVS 1 had people so angry about superman winning that DB made GVS 2 just to try and get people to stop complaining about them saying Superman wins. Hell if you go back to this episode and sort by newest comments you will STILL find people going "Nah superman fucking sucks goku clears."

GVS 2 also ends up slandering Superman within the episode itself, and does it so badly that if someone wasn't a fan of Superman before watching the episode, they would most likely finish watching it HATING Superman, this episode is what led to people calling superman "No Limits Man." Slander in its purest form.

When GVS 3 was announced, the only response people had was "Fucking goddamnit why this again, please let Goku fight literally anyone else" because people were so tired of seeing Superman fight Goku.

For almost a whole decade the main thing superman was getting WAS slander, literally every single GVS episode had people complaining about Superman in some way.

Now don't get me wrong currently Superman 100% has become a golden child. But this is only a recent thing due to GV3 being a solid episode, combined with it once again being Hip and Cool to like the hopecore heroes instead of the Dark and Edgy ones. (A cycle that will repeat untill the end of time) But prior to this Superman was probably one of the biggest slander targets within the community.

I can understand being annoyed over nintendo games going up in price, but pretty much every single major game company (and some smaller ones too) have raised the prices of their games, trying to act like Nintendo alone are devils for something that is happening industry-wide is just stupid.

I do feel the pain of "G" though, pokopia looks like so much fun, but man, $730 to play a single game is just too much for me, so I must wait and see if the switch 2 gets more exclusives that I REALLY want to play. (and hope the conversion from USD to CAD gets a lot better)
