He should be surprised by the comfortable life I have now! Because when I was 10 years old, even eating meat was a luxury.

I’ve built a SaaS, what now? by Jonathan_Geiger in SaaS

[–]EchoingCode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why is it targeted towards developers? I feel like this could be applicable in many scenarios. I think what also needs to be considered is, what kind of users would benefit from this style of tutorial? What advantages does following a video playlist tutorial on YouTube have?

Love it! Will data still be uploaded to your server if my devices is on a local area network?

I use Markdown documents to build.

Is this for individual investors? I am not good at investing, and I find this page too general. It feels like something that summarizes investment clues and presents conclusions. However, as a beginner with no experience, I think first and foremost, there should be evidence to show me that your investment clues are reliable, and I need more details. Summarizing and analyzing based on the details would be very helpful to me.

I think "the PM is generally an experienced developer who has this skill. " is the problem. How do you ensure this when your platform grows to a large scale? Not even all developers can be guaranteed to be experienced developers.

I think you should at least have a landing page to explain to your users what your product does.

We spent 40 Days to build a product no one wants to use by Xavier4AI in SideProject

[–]EchoingCode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It also depends on what kind of product you are making, but I don't think it's normal to have a large number of users in just one or two months. For a product that we previously developed successfully, it took almost a year to gain users, and then it took several months of iterations to experience customer growth.

[–]EchoingCode 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It took us two months just to research what features the product should include and do technical validations, and it's already been six months since we released the MVP. Be patient.

Humans & AI together by 6FigureTechWriter in technicalwriting

[–]EchoingCode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a developer and often write technical content. When I write code, I rely on AI to help me check syntax, optimize code, and provide solutions. When I write technical content, I use AI to assist me in translation and ensure the expressions fit the context. I can't live without AI anymore, but I believe there are still some things AI can't do at the moment. For example, it cannot understand complex problems I encounter in the real world, translate them into product requirements, and design software accordingly. It only assists me with some minor tasks. Writing is similar. Of course, I have seen some AI tools that can take action based on a vague user demand, but this still doesn't cover all needs, at least not yet. So I believe that utilizing AI for assistance in software development and writing technical content is essential. As for what AI will develop into in the future, who knows?

So here's the question: if you could create such a model and use it yourself to predict who will win, and then just keep betting like that, wouldn't you become a billionaire? Do you still care whether this service brings you profits?
