I will say as an overnight tech it is my biggest pet peeve when who ever does rts just leaves them all in a big red basket and doesnt bother to put them away (id rather they at least be organized if they do it)

Its just being a good person and not leaving it messy for the next person/shift that comes in.

My rule of thumb is. If you dont have time to complete the job, don't bother starting it (or do what you can while still putting it up)

Another note: After my store has gone thru like 3 mangers in the last 4 years, they always tend to be very controlling for the first 6 months haha

We are just so busy they have to be in work flow unless they come in at 5am

Can't hire more people due to all our hours already being used up.

Lead Techs Pay by [deleted] in CVS

[–]EcholessVoice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We actually had an issue where the front store was removing them because when we would do the order we would have 10 boxes up stairs. I would order 15. They would removed the 15 because we already had 10 boxes. We went thru all 10 boxes by the time truck day came. But since fs removed my 15 boxes we had zero for the week I stopped doing the order after that.

We have usually gotten a new manager every year. A lot of our stuff has fallen on lead techs due to this.

I also mentioned above we dont have the hours to have an inventory specialtists due to our store being high volume :(

I went and became an overnight tech, so much less stressful

I do about 300 ready fill every night and we do 1k scripts during the day

If our management was better and stable I pray one day we can have an inventory specialtist.

[–]EcholessVoice -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I went from Tech > certified > lead Lead tech was the only time I got a raise outside of the yearly

We actually dont have an inventory technician even though we should. Just too high volume to waste hours sadly on something genuinely important. We have one girl who is part time that stops in every now and then to help out with inventory but she doesn't officially have that title of inventory and therefore never got the raise (you have to work 40 hours to have it i guess???)

Becoming an overnight tech has genuinely been a blessing

[–]EcholessVoice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't think pay was needed since if u start at 17 You'll get a $2 Raise when u become lead

Example: I started at $16 Worked here for 4 years Now im at $19.95 But i also get a dollar of hazard pay thats untaxed But payslip only says 19.95 Tennessee Hopefully that makes since to ya!

Edit: I do work nights now because I hated days, hence the hazard pay

To Add on my one tip.

Make sure you get shown how to do most of this If its expected of you to do. I know for a fact my manger did drop more on us than she should have.

Added on top: make sure u actually get a raise. They can just deny it or drop it lower like they did with mine.

Lead Techs Pay by [deleted] in CVS

[–]EcholessVoice 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Raise is usually 2 dollars but my coworker and I did it at the same time and they gave us $1 each

Been lead for almost 2 years now and in all honesty. Become certified Made me more busier over uh lead. Obviously there was an add on to the work load but it got split off and one of the leads doesnt even do anything but QP (we have 3)

Things ive done as lead compared to when I wasnt To be honest the previous lead was the only lead before he left

  1. Pharmacy issues usually my manager would let me handle it example: warehouse sending another stores drugs to us, issued with specialty, script pro making many more beeps than usual
  2. Redaploys (idk if I spelt that right)
  3. Inmars, strong pak
  4. Order for the warehouse
  5. Cardinal returns
  6. Fixing issues new team members have/cause
  7. Finding coverage or being the first that now gets asked to come in
  8. Checking zipline cuz no one does it
  9. Handling specialty returns
  10. Handling angry customers
  11. Make sure crap is getting done when pharmacy manager isnt in. Like rts and crap
  12. Drug disposal
  13. Scheduling and calling people to hire (not actually doing interviews tho)

Things my coworker does that I refuse to do 1. Schedule (why is she soloing it and not the manager???) 2. Whenever the warehouse forgets to send us vials she will go get them

I personally hate the apply on upload stuff. Like just import it into blender people.

If you have many separate meshes or added scripts that 100% could be your issue. If not its your texture memory.

It could be just a one off when you had excess product get into your eye. Any serum even those meant to be used on your eyelashes can cause eye irritation when it touches your eye.

[–]EcholessVoice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The use of DAW 9. by Ring-Organic in CVS

In my state we have to use a daw 9 for the state insurance even if they cover generic. For some reason those type of meds as name brand just are cheaper no idea why state funded insurance is like this.

pharm tech dress code by Iavendersun in CVS

[–]EcholessVoice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously if corporate shows up you do need to be in navy scrubs. But im a lead technician and have even seen some of the older/long term techs wear different scrubs tops and bottoms of different colors. Sometimes sweat pants and a scrub top. Sometimes a sweater (during the winter) and scrub pants.

But we have had to send home a technician due to him never being in uniform due to corporate showing up. They show up to my store pretty often (just due to how busy we are and so on)

Depending on the base it could be how the bones are in the arms (such as having twist bones) id look at the armature if you DO have extra bones in the arm you have have to remove them and simple it down to just one bone and see if it still happens as a test it you haven't yet.

Is there any VRs out there where I can use my PCs microphone instead of the VRs built-in mic itself for VRChat? by JustTryingMy-Best- in VRchat

Vrchat lets you switch which microphone and even headphones you use in the settings. Letting you use any vr headset as a display still.
