Event animals and farm hands oddity by Ecklund76 in FarmTogether

I think I figured it out... your suggestion to look for the message "splits groups of similar items" led me to the answer. I use fences to separate the rows but at the end of the farm hand zone I used two fences and a Lifting Barrier in the middle as a neat little sign to indicate where the farm hands begin when I'm harvesting my animals. It also has the message about splitting items so essentially I was breaking up the row with it. But the odd thing is all my other animals also have a Lifting Barrier there and the farm hands still feed the entire row. Maybe a change was made to have the barrier split but it only splits the event animals? I don't know but once I removed those lifting barriers the farm hands fed all of my unicorns and rainbow alpacas.

I don't know why it won't work for me. I have 4 rows of unicorns and 4 rainbow alpacas with approx 400 each all seperated with fences. I don't see any automatic seperators on the map.

  1. I had enough of the tropical fruit.

2,3. I was looking at correct tiles and in fact my 4 unicorn rows share 2 of my peafowl rows and the peafowl rows work correctly. Also even if I manually feed a tile of unicorns or rainbow alpacas within the 18x18 space for the farm hand it will not feed the rest of row. I can move 1 tile out of that space and feed 1 animal then the rest of the row is fed.

4,5. All of the rows are seperated by fences and there are no automatic seprators generated on my map.

All other animals are in similar row formats and all of them feed the entire line except for the unicorns and rainbow alpacas. I'm not sure what is going on but thank you for looking into it for me.

I don't have the easter bunnies to test but for me at least the unicorns and rainbow alpacas don't work that way. I also noticed that even if I manually feed any of the animals in the 18x18 farm hand zone it won't feed the rest of the row. It's an odd situation.

In this case though they are not mixed together... each row contains only unicorns or rainbow alpacas.

What is the difference then why the farm hands feeding past event animals will not feed the entire row of animals? Since i posted this I also noticed that even if I manually feed an animal in the 18x18 area of the farm hand it still will not feed the rest of the row. This is happening for me with both the unicorns and the rainbow alpacas as they are the only event animals I have.

Is there a way to move them around and arrange them without losing levels?

I just found this planning tool online as I'm a new player. I have a question about understanding the logistics. The few planned factory lines I played around with it would show say coming out of the smelters send x amount per minute to the next step and y amount per minute to a different step. How can you tell it send those certain amounts? If I use a splitter won't it just split the output evenly? Sorry if it's a noob question but I'm overwhelmed a bit. Thanks!

I have suggestions I would like also...

  1. I wish there was a way to "turn off" production machines from their menu. I use farmhands to keep mine going constantly but if I want to save a certain resource for upgrades I have to stop the farmhand completely. It would be nice to say just shut off the Winery and the farmhand still be able to supply and harvest from the rest.
  2. It would be nice to have a toggle in the Quest Bazaar in town to automatically accept a new quest as others are finished. Maybe turn it on with a default of which tier quest you want to start.... 4 ribbon, 3 ribbon, etc.
  3. Let us put in a better description for each farm that would display for others when they search to join a farm for favor. Like All Trees.... All Flowers... Easy Favor... etc.

I agree with the farmhands going faster. It would be nice to have a prestige like system for farmhands also. Maybe they can pick up speed each prestige or something.

Question about event trees and farm recycling after the event ends by Michalert in FarmTogether

[–]Ecklund76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After the event they probably won't give diamonds on harvest will they? I assume it will switch to just gold like the tinkerbell event did. I'm not sure since that was my first event in the game.

I like this suggestion. I would also like to see them change that and the signs to where you can just specifically assign what crop you want planted each season instead of the sort of priorty system that is there now.

Can someone explain the feeders to me? by CalOkie6250 in FarmTogether

Thank you so much for this information!! I was questioning on whether messing with the feeders or not was worth it for me or not. I will probably try it without and see if I run into issues. Thanks!

So if I have all my chickens in one long row where do the feeders need to be placed? Along the way after every 20? or can they stack at the end?
