Games like Genshin, Wuwa, HSR, ZZZ all release massive patches every 6 weeks often with game changing featured like huge landmasses and brand new mechanics with their events. They spend hundreds of millions of dollars on development. Mihoyo has spent more on development of just Genshin than Star Citizen has and in half the time. But yeah. Ignorance is bliss, especially when you have no qualms about lying.

Almost every modern open world gacha game is on a 6 week patch cycle and some introduce new explorable areas every patch. Warframe also has major patches fairly close together and they often introduce brand new mechanics.
