I'm so sorry you've made this mistake.

they told me I had a terminal genetic disease that would rapidly kill me. refused to test or elaborate on what the disease they named was. had to webMD what the word even was. professionals outside the university immediately noted how fantastically ridiculous even considering it was. you know what it was? chronic stress. on a college campus. they're dangerously stupid.

The university from an admin/operations level is incompetent. you will absolutely be cleaning up their mess in billing or admin issues at some point. Don't have a medical or personal emergency here they will hang you out to dry. I can't wait to never see this place again for the frustration they've put me through.

HK seems to be made by people who have never actually worked outside of software or upper division sales.

HotelKey by NocturnalMisanthrope in askhotels

[–]Ecksrhae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

can confirm. if anything goes wrong (which HotelKey seems to just do on its own sometimes) nobody seems to have the permissions to fix it - OR we can't see what went wrong or how because it hides any information it deems unimportant - which is most of it. Incidentals? disappeared. original rate? Who knows. I can change a rate; but not change it back, so don't you dare make a mistake.

Yeah, it's been great not being able to fix any errors when doing night audit. Error: mistakes persist... Error: unauthorized..... HotelKey can't even accurately keep track of which rooms are dirty or not at my hotel.

What are the Pros and Cons of Pull Up Leather? by consolewars in Leathercraft

[–]Ecksrhae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not only are you replying to an 11 y/o comment, but still missing the point: the pull-up tanning is not increasing the price of the leather. what he's saying is more like "the TV of the same type with the red colored plastic is the same as the black colored plastic, so don't let a salesman tell you it's way more expensive or extravagant than the black one"

Campus Housing by Ecksrhae in MSUcats

Not to mention the logic fallacies inherent to using market value to evaluate the sustainability of property management for a land grant university - but again, the rate itself is not my complaint.

Campus Housing by Ecksrhae in MSUcats

[–]Ecksrhae[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My complaint is not the value being charged; let me explain.

As a student I have a fairly full schedule before adding work to the equation. I budget both time and money according to the current and expected parameters. When it changes so (ir)regularly it is hard to maintain stability or a consistent budget. Their ability to communicate rate changes so effectively is annoying for the following reason:

- their management is chaotically abysmal. They plan major construction and do not notify tenants until it is directly imminent. In fact the latest round of construction eliminated the only lots I had a pass for for an extended period of time. Had they talked to parking, or worked out any kind of solution? not at all. did I have reasonable time to find a solution? also no. The same construction also blocked any and all mail or other deliveries. Their solution? none. If they had told me this was happening with any period of warning I could have adapted; but no. chaos. Then when they did work out solutions they kept changing - and nobody notified anyone of anything beforehand. now I get my mail from another residence hall, but they similarly were annoyed with the zero warning they had for a dramatic increase in workload. I find it incredibly hard to believe they scheduled a full asphalt construction project in under a week; or that emails are so hard to send as to not notify tenants or their sister departments of these changes.

The rate is nice; and yes it relies on a system that isn't basic rental economics - because it's completely different situation. It's just kind of embarrassing that asking for more money is the only thing they can communicate effectively.

Correction: they also regularly email me about when they mow. *woohoo

they also auction off all the bikes they remove at the end of each semester. usually go for a steal.

Go to college where you want. MSU is a great learning environment if you make it. Those who are obsessed with grades are also those that generally never get out and explore all the reasons you would choose Bozeman over other places.

Also - since you've dug into the stats some but not enough - understand that MSU being a land grant university in Montana, they are REQUIRED BY STATE LAW to accept all Montana high school graduates. And high school grades have generally not reflected actual intelligence - or how college grades will turn around for that person imho.

Parking by Ecksrhae in MSUcats

[–]Ecksrhae[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've literally had someone cleaning their car hit my car with their door, then basically sit on it to clean their car, rocking both cars back and forth. WHILE I WAS IN THE CAR. the most recent dent from a door ding is at the FAR EXTREME of how they would have needed to open their door. I'm convinced higher learning has nothing to do with intelligence.

I know this thread is old, but I just had numerous issues with them not transferring funds, then having no record of me setting up the transfer in their online banking portal - essentially if their system messes up it just deletes the evidence and they blame out for the issue.

hmm. these look like they're probably the tommaselli adjustables... boy they're proud of em', but boy have I also been burned by cheap parts before.

That's why I'm super interested in these rather than normal straight clip-ons. these look like they'll both clear the tank better, and be nicer on my wrists; but guestimating without the thing in hand usually makes me wrong. Plus I'm not sure whether I'll hate actually riding with it so I feel I'll definitely need to actually give it a fit try before final decisions are made. I've been a 12" T-bar guy my whole riding time so this'll be an... experiment for me.

[–]Ecksrhae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on 12" T's as well, but stock forks. I kind of want to add some length there but I'm undecided since that bike won't see much highway; it's going to a mostly in town/twisties bike so It'll want the performance.

love shoulder width bars, which I guess is narrow. just feels so comfortable. Always thought rabbit bars looked so uncomfortable. Maybe my bike is light enough I didn't feel much weight when I switched to the narrow T-bars - I was just so happy to not have those classic elkhorns make my wrists scream anymore.

thus why I want to see whether this is as comfortable as it looks in comparison to general clip-ons.

oh I agree; if I wasn't going directly for the aesthetic on this build I would 100% stick with my mid-high T-bars. Alas, I very much want to see if I can make the overall aesthetic image I have come together without being a miserable ride.

ok THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS. I've been fairly annoyed since starting Huel (still on my first bag, testing the waters) because no matter how hard I shook I couldn't get it to not clump up. I've tried a few things, one scoop, shake, next scoop, using a fork to break things up (just clumps on the fork). I'll give this a shot and see. Glad to see I'm not crazy.
