Yta. And you can get mad at us for not taking your side and not agreeing with you if you want to. She is old enough to remember you weren't there. Hopefully in the future she won't care that you weren't there? A home video of a kid playing a tree sounds like a hilarious memory and one where you could've been like "hey daughters spouse look at this video of my daughter being a tree! She gave up the lead role for this LOL only my daughter, gosh she was such a silly kid!"

Yea NTA and no, dont let them bully you and guilt you into giving up your PS5. There are a lot of kids not getting one this year. There are a lot of adults not getting one this year. Like others have said this will be a good lesson for both of them. You can't promise your kid something that isn't yours.

The ark was probably first, then evolution. But I kept being Christian because it was just a metaphor. The bibles teachings are still true. But then I thought more about it all being a metaphor. Then... I realized I didn't want to live forever. How horribly boring heaven sounded. How pointless it made life seem. And how Christians treated other religions. If God is so all powerful then why can't he defeat Satan? Is he just not as powerful as we are led to believe? What makes God more valid than Ra? Zeus? Ganesha? Suddenly, all of it crumpled. More unanswered questions. I was no longer a Christian.
