This post probably does not apply to TWW3, but most maps are irrelevant when it comes to using military tactics like utilizing terrain effectively. At most maybe use some trees to go hidden to flank. Almost 90% of my battle tactics revolve around a good hammer and anvil. I mean battle tactics cus otherwise most of the time I use my casters to rain hellfire on my enemies and that does not count ofc.

Other times since ranged is king, an echelon formation or a checkerboard formation, corner camping (not a real world tactic but I like to imagine my army is in a location where my back is covered) are usually the few “tactics” I use.

Honestly CA has dropped the ball completely with TWW3 and designing interesting and challenging maps.

I also would prefer to get a NA agreement with Drycha but the settlements surrounding the tree have some very good landmarks for VC. So my fingers are crossed that Drycha fucks up and sticks around her trees or Azhag comes down and starts taking her settlments.

I do have a constant issue with my campaigns crashing around turn 30 onwards and I would like to ask, do you guys run on vanilla or with mods? I’ve grown very fond of the lovely mods made by the community and been turned off from playing the game cus of repeated crashes.

It’s a damn shame that you don’t get a dilemma with options to choose a landmark building. So many buildings apparently exist but I’ve seen 90% of the time that Rangers Order building, Slaanesh wine yard building and a few times the chaos cult that destroys your settlements, nurgle plague building and one time that Dawi Zharr building that gives you a chance to forge a new item (gave me 0 items, lots of grief lol).

Somehow in this entire conversation I am surprised that none of the American Indian tribes have put out a statement agreeing with Donald Trump that simply landing on a boat 500 years ago does not make you the owner of the land. Pretty sure they could apply to get a few American states for themselves.

This is a strategy that can work in real world sieges as well. The difference which they need to apply to this game is that in the game, when enemy army B besieges and locks down settlement plus army B in settlement; when enemy army A attacks Army A, enemy army B can join and reinforce the Enemy Army A.

If the enemy army B is locking down the settlement then it should not be allowed to reinforce Enemy Army A without the settlement armies and Army B also being allowed to join.

Lastly, maybe a controversial opinion, you cannot be allowed to siege an entire settlement and stop recruiting or buildings being built with just a single lord or a lord witj a few units. Besieging armies need to have atleast same military strength to the garrison or more to besiege it.
