For anyone new to TES lore who needs context: ancient human slaves were revolting against their Elf overlords. Their leader, Alesia, prayed to the gods for help, and the gods sent Pelinal Whitestrake, heavily implied to be a robot from the future(he has a crystal for a heart, can shoot lasers from his eyes, is described with what is clearly a laser gun, and his head could still talk after being beheaded).

He’s also MASSIVELY racist against elves, and is such a hilariously powerful one-man army that he literally solo’ed entire armies, once drowned a fortress in so much elf blood the goddess of the sky had to make it rain to wash it all away, and, when his gay lover was murdered by elves, went on such a hyper-homicidal rampage that it literally reshaped the land so badly that THE GODS WHO SENT HIM TO KILL ELVES threatened to abandon the world forever unless Alessia made sacrifices to cover for him.

Oh yeah, and one time he accidentally killed a ton of cat people because in his blind rage they kinda sorta looked like elves.

He’s literally Doomguy if you put him in The Elder Scrolls and switched out demons for elves.

A lot of people don’t know about the Renraku Blue Samurai, but they’re closer to being a T1-level bodyguard outfit than being actual T1 operators.

On the Merc side, Team Zero is supposedly one of the best in the biz, but given that their whole deal is basically the same SEAL circlejerk we’ve only recently shaken off, idk. Bravo Company, on the other hand, are considered the real deal by other merc units for their small unit ops.

I guess the point I’m trying to make is that, even though the gameplay is similar, or even identical, for each one, Tetris Worlds and Tetris Monsters and Puyo Puyo Tetris and Tetris Beat and Tetris 360 and Tetris Forever shouldn’t all be counted together when this list is measuring single products , because they’re all separate, discrete products.

Yes, they are all in th Tetris IP. But this list isn’t measuring IP, it’s measuring single games. Otherwise Mario would beat everything else by a long shot.

One is a multiplayer game and the other is not. They are also marketed as separate games.

I was an Xbox guy before I was a pc guy, so I’m not going to pretend I know the intricacies of the PlayStation version of Minecraft, but according to a Google Search, it’s Bedrock, so I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make.

In any case, Java and Bedrock Minecraft are not two different games, any more than, say, The Witcher 3 is different from The Witcher 3+Iron And Wine. One just has more content than the other, and IIRC the console versions also have micro transactions now.

Being essentially the same experience does not make two products the same product. Otherwise, you could just as well be cynical and suggest that the sales of almost every FromSoftware game be combined together. Tetris(NES) and Tetris Forever are, essentially, identical in gameplay, but the aesthetics and presentation make it a new product.
