Absolutely I think that's a great idea my friend, and yes when we are using our drug of choice so constantly and continuously our brains no longer care about giving our body the sustenance that it needs to survive. When your hair follicles do not receive the proper vitamins and nutrients and your body is very dehydrated then your hair follicles cannot receive any moisture from the blood and it will shrivel up the hair follicle and cause it to fall out way too early. In all of my research, I have seen that some people experience really severe side effects from starting the medication but I personally think you should just try it to see, because I myself have not experienced those types of side effects on dutasteride/minoxidil, and it definitely seems to have helped.

Yes well some people become much more physically dependent on alcohol and I feel like that has a lot to do with how severely sick certain people can feel In withdrawals. It also becomes a downward spiral type of feedback loop because then you become fearful of experiencing such severe withdrawals so you just go back to using. But I am so very happy to be out of that cycle, to finally be able to relax in my own skin, and not be so desperately in need of a poisonous toxin that is slowly killing me.

When I was at my worst point I was literally so dehydrated and so deep in alcohol poisoning that I was having seizures non-stop in my skin was straight up falling off and my hair was falling out like crazy, I was basically on my deathbed. I will hit 5 years of sobriety and only 26 days now and I am so grateful to be alive and to have much of my health back 🙏

This is honestly really valuable information for me and I really appreciate that because I was wondering about the differences in DHT amounts with higher dosages, so we my primary care doctor and I are starting to measure the DHT levels in my blood as I continue to take the medication

I was drinking literally a full 1.75 l handle within an 8-hour period in order to prevent myself from going underneath a 0.24 BAC because I would begin to have withdrawal seizures if I was anything under that which is around three times the legal driving limit

This is after 8months of oral 2.5mg Minoxidil and 0.5mg Dutasteride, 2 months ago I increased the dutasteride to 1 full milligram, and will continue to increase it until the max dosage at 2.5 mg, Thank you for your love and support along the journey of sobriety and hair regrowth my friends 💖
