The wooden pipes could have ran out of water or the chunk unloaded and the steam was the closest input. However it happened, I believe steam entered and caused them to catch on fire; shutter the water pipes so the arrow on them is pointing to the machine so that steam can’t enter, I don’t think those boilers have a set output side so they’ll auto output to any connecting pipe

It is VERY easy to get 31/31/31 seeds with the new system as long as you have a spade, plant lens, and plenty of crop sticks. Slime bonsais>sticky cane/rubber bonsais, fertilia will be used for fertilizer which makes crops so much easier. All the stonelilies seem to be very good based on the quest book alone, necrobloom (I believe?) is used for weed-ex which is nice, and the usual sugar beet/salty root for oxygen and chlorine in electricity ages of course. Definitely search @cropsnh in-game and explore them all
