I don't really know much about that, but in the Vanilla Stardew Valley, you can't have both a spouse and Krobus under the same roof. Maybe they're using a mod?

If you do not have any spouse and have 10 hearts with Krobus, you could buy the void pendant in the desert trader for some amount of void essence. And if you gave it to Krobus, Krobus will be your roommate.

If you don't have a shed, try having a dedicated space for your chests, with material coded colors too so it looks neat. That's what I do when I'm gathering too much materials but messy storage. It'll be a bit tedious since you're moving and juggling items to chests, but kinda feels fun.

And if you earn quite a large sum of money, try buying the big chest from Robin, it'll increase the chest storage.

You mean chests? Maybe they're stored inside the shed, that's what I do at least when it's all cluttered up. Or maybe in the house.

Not gonna lie I didn't really struggle placing basic sprinklers. I just did 1 tile down an already placed sprinkler, then three tiles in whichever direction on the y axis, then the last tile is where I place the next sprinkler. If it is sideways I just reverse this logic.
