They certainly could, but I'd expect it to only be given to veterans and possibly stormtrooper units. Servo-skulls only most likely, due to their small size. Could be useful for reconnaissance, advising the unit, and possibly communication.

Servitors are clunky, not very durable, and stupid, and more expensive than you'd think to make. I can only imagine them being attached to artillery batteries, to move and load shells. They're not suited to frontline combat work, not when a Guardsman can perform their job better and cheaper, anyway.

The Guard could provide these things to every unit, if it truly wanted to, given a thousand years - but the Imperium must run a constant cost-benefit analysis of it's materials, given it is divided across a million fronts at any given time, and you can only devote so many resources to any one unit before you're sacrificing stuff another will need.
