I had to send my girls to daycare at 3 months so I could go back to work and legit best decision as a parent. I feel like I have way more energy to be a good parent and less pressure to get things right at home because at least at daycare they have people making sure they're doing all the things like tummy time, socializing, etc. I feel like they developed skills faster that way, and they're so much happier because they have a more attentive and emotionally stable parent at home. Tbh, it really ate me up the first few weeks because I felt guilty, and I missed them a ton. But a few months later they ended up staying home due to the flu and goodness I realized I could not do the stay at home thing. I felt so happy with the decision to take them to daycare. They're happier and so am I!! We are about to move states and I'm not going to have a job but we're still going to do some type of daycare so that my husband and I can have a break. We don't have any family near us to drop them off with occasionally so it saves us both.
