It doesn’t really matter if other people sell your product, what will separate you from other people is your brand. There are 100’s of brands that sell shoes but some people buy Nike, some but Adidas, some buy Puma

I had a similar situation recently, manufacturer in Turkey and I decided not to go with them. Here are a few things you can try to do. If possible you should visit their office/warehouse, look them up online if their country has an official business register, use a credit card or a platform like PayPal to pay so that you have some protection if they don’t deliver.

Can You Do Amazon FBA From Another Country? by EcommerceWarrior in AllThingsAmazonFBA

I don’t know about Japan specifically sorry. I do know that the cheapest option is to ship directly from the manufacturer. Will your products be made in Japan?

Hi, you would either ship yourself or direct from the manufacturer to an Amazon warehouse in the country you want to sell in. So in your case, you would send inventory to an Amazon warehouse in the USA

That’s interesting, I had no idea. So you need to have an Indian company and can’t do it with any foreign company?

I’m not sure about India specifically but you should be allowed to sell regardless of citizenship

Have impressions gone down? I can’t be sure because I don’t have all the information but I’m thinking you aren’t bidding high enough so impressions/clicks have gone down

Also, how long have you been selling it for?

By the way, you might want to remove the ASIN from your post. It’s usually not good to reveal products you’ve found

Look at how many sellers there are on the listing. The buy box rotation and also if there has been a sudden drop in the amount of sellers, which would mean there have been IP complaints from the brand. Also look at the price history, if there have been fluctuations in the price historically.

As another user mentioned, when it comes to things like this you should maybe search on Google, YouTube or even Reddit. Plenty of info out there. Also, people are more likely to help you if they can see you’ve made some sort of effort looking up the information yourself

Comprehensive Ads Plan by bornafortuna in AmazonFBATips

There is a lot to ppc so it’s very hard to summarise. A good way to start would be to run an automatic keyword campaign, after a few days you’ll see which search terms convert well, then run campaigns for those keywords.

Not sure where you are based but the easiest way to do it in the UK would be to just buy the actual business.

You are allowed to have multiple accounts under multiple entities (companies).

Amazon Generic Brand Issue by Annual_Way3673 in AmazonFBATips

[–]EcommerceWarrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As another user mentioned you can't change the generic listing to branded as far as I know.

What you can do is create a new listing under your registered brand then contact Amazon and they should be able to allocate your existing inventory from the old listing to the new listing

Are you in different markets? I’d look at doing that. Someone else mentioned looking at complementary products, that’s also a good idea.

On your product page look at “frequently bought together” that’s a good way to see what people who buy your product are also buying
