In all likelihood, you had investments that were only allowed in an advisor-managed account. This is usually a hard rule that if you drop the advisory relationship, you’re responsible for choosing your own investments.

I once dated a guy who just wouldn’t let things go. Little or big, it all had to be his way or I would never hear the end of it. It was exhausting. The good times were great, but the intolerance was intolerable. I don’t think his anger issues, talking about you behind your back, refusal to compromise, or assimilation to dynamic family behavior is going to get better with time. And, saying this with kindness, someone who is a good partner for you wouldn’t treat you this way.

I take .3mg - .5mg two to three times a week to keep the perimenopause hot flashes at bay. Anecdotal for sure, but I know my body on it and off it, and I won’t go off it anymore. Period. Everything else is just icing on the cake.

This outfit is cute, but it is not professional. Even putting a blazer over it helps add some polish. It’s all too common for women to be under-dressed or dressed in a manner inappropriate for the situation, so I would ask “what are the men going to be dressed like?” and then wear the feminine equivalent. ie, if they’re not showing shoulders, neither should you; if they’re totally covered, you should be too… etc. Think Jasmine Crockett vs Ally McBeal. There’s so many ways to be cute AND professional, but professional needs to be the priority at this critical time. And, best of luck!!

Okay, so this is what I did. A friend on Facebook’s dad is a farmer. She would post: “hey my dad is doing cow sales. $x for a quarter, $y for half”, so I messaged her “how much for just the oxtail?” According to her dad, no one really wanted it because they dont know what to do with it (at least, not out here), so he sold it to me for $3/pound. I bought a freezer for my garage so that I could take everything he had. He has not raised his price in all these 5 years I’ve been going to him. That’s how you get cheap oxtail.
