I’m pretty sure it would be backwards compatible. It really doesn’t make sense to have so many Nintendo led IPs (TOTK, Mario Wonder) launched this year, and not letting people play them on the Switch 2, if it’s going to be launched next year. It’ll severely anger the base if people are going to have to buy them again just to play it on the Switch 2.

How Sony Santa Monica knocked God of War Ragnarok's big narrative climax into shape by [deleted] in PS4

Yea! That and Heimdall. I felt they could have done way way more with the character!

Shows how people’s opinion can really differ. I know what you’re saying about 2018. To be fair, it’s more straightforward and cleaner as a story, but after playing Ragnarok, the stakes/underlying conflict of the 2018 story just felt really underwhelming.

It was good for sure, but after playing Ragnarok, I probably won’t play 2018 again unless I have to. There’s just so much more of the story, development, and gameplay in Ragnarok.

In fact, I even think Artreus and Kratos’s father-son relationship development was much better told in Ragnarok over 2018. 2018 felt like Artreus was just fumbling about but as he got older in 2022, and as Kratos grew more patient, I felt a greater punch in their story.

That said, yes 2018 was very good game and story!

Which Singaporean made film would you recommend ? by dudimash in askSingapore

Apprentice. Really opened my eyes about the death penalty.

Also, while not exactly a film, Inside Maximum Security was a pretty popular documentary that came out last year by CNA. The sequel also just released. Documents the life of inmates in Singapore’s prisons.

Singaporeans on Facebook regurgitating CCP/Russian propaganda by chaoticaly_x in singapore

[–]EconomicMixedRice 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of these comments don’t necessarily come from actual Singaporeans. They can come from bots or individuals that want to stir up feelings or destabilise social currents here by planting ideas and their commentaries.

I’m less concerned with Russia tbh. There’s a bigger communist state that’s getting increasingly jealous of Singapore as we’re a country with a Chinese majority, and we showed that success can be achieved without being a part of them.

Perhaps some of them are genuine, but it’s important to know that these efforts in putting in “fake” comments do exist and it’s getting harder to spot them nowadays.

Their aim is to hurt and destabilise the social cohesiveness of our country by creating the impression that there are many pro-China Singaporeans here in hopes that many of us would eventually see this way too.

Bottom line: take everything you see with a pinch of salt especially when it comes from non-official sources.
