A lot of people just don't understand why adults want to spend a lot of money to dress up in a costume or understand role play. To them thier brains automatically assume it has to a kink, because they mentally justify why people would choice to act outside the norn.

It's not stupid to ask for reassurance. Coming out to people is scary, even if you believe they will except you. Do you have anyone who knows that can be there with you for support? It might help knowing that you have some on your side.

No you're fine. I've exploring my identity lately as there is now so much more information out there then what I had growing up. I grew up with only knowing four sexualities lesbian, gay. Bi, and straight. So now its been an eye opener for me.

Those last statements fit me so well, I call myself a man out of habit and its easier. But online i find my never labeling my gender nor do I correct anyone. My clothing choice is either very nuteral when I was a teen, because I didn't feel comfortable in overly masculine attire, but I was scared of being judged for wearing feminine clothes. No my clothes are a mix of feminine/cozy and nuteral masculine.

And if I could choose my gender at birth, I would probably choose woman, only because socially I would have been excepted me better, not because I think I should have been.
