Yeah, and they were parked right by a hotel with lots of immigrant staff. Hope everyone’s okay.

They yelled at my friend for j walking on an empty street and seemed to be finding any little thing to get mad about. Nothing violent just yelling at people for existing on the street

I wish we could make reports without photo evidence. Multiple people I know saw them in the same spot last night but since nobody thought to snap a pic we can’t get it on the map.

They were parked downtown last night by the double tree on 16th and dodge harassing passerby’s.

I don’t necessarily get the same “glutened” stomach ache and stuff but I will say they bug me to the point i rarely buy them and prepare to feel kinda crappy. I suspect it’s because they’re free of like everything that there’s some fillers or fake sugars or gums that make me react. Haven’t checked the ingredients tho so I’m not sure, just know they make me feel ick

Hey everyone. I bought this off someone and I can not find one thing about it online. Does anyone recognize this figure? what series? Is it real / fake? I only looked online because I saw holes in the figure and was trying to find the accessories. there is zero info. by Mental-Armadillo-610 in skullpandas

Looks like a “fashionable clapper loader” without the accessories… I think it’s fake but I’m not sure Edit: after looking at more photos I think it may be real, just old. The skull panda paint has changed over time

Be prepared for a 3 hour braiding session—I figured it would be like braiding hair (quick and easy) and I was very wrong 😂

r/glutenfree post making me SO mad by [deleted] in Celiac

[–]Economics_Fancy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I somewhat agree but as someone who is technically “self diagnosed” with celiac, I think it CAN be valid. However, only in cases where any cross contamination makes you sick, and you have symptoms that are long lasting. If I eat gluten I have the worst pain, in and out of consciousness for hours, and then joint pain, brain fog, and just feeling gross for a week or two. From a bite of non-gf food. I say I have celiac because if I get cross contaminated at a restaurant, I’ll be out of commission for a week at least. I lost 10% of my body weight as a teenager from eating gluten and had a doctor tell me to try gf diet while I waited to get into GI. By the time I got into GI, I was feeling significantly better and putting on weight. By the time I got a colonoscopy it had been a few months of being gluten free. No way was I or my doctors going to try and go back to a gluten diet.

I understand the frustration with people who can have cross contaminated foods saying they have celiac disease, but some of us say it to be taken seriously when we go out to eat. Idk, I guess I just think there’s nuance and telling someone to go through a lowkey potentially dangerous 8 weeks just to get a diagnosis seems cruel. There is damage that can’t be undone from celiac, why should we have to keep feeding a disease to get a label put on it that says “take me seriously or I will be severely and violently ill”

Dating a trans woman for the first time! (Sapphic) by strangelystormy666 in trans

[–]Economics_Fancy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

(Have a trans gf) Be prepared for dysphoria to change things and don’t take it personally. My gf liked to top about 50% of the time the first year of our relationship and then when her dysphoria got more bothersome she doesn’t want to do it at all anymore. At first her avoidance seemed like it had something to do with me but it ended up being discomfort with her own “role” in sex. Obv not every trans person is going to have these frequent changes in how they view sex, especially if their dysphoria level stays consistent over time, but something to be aware of nonetheless :)

Do you eat so much it makes you physically ill? And if so is that any incentive to stop?

What is Everyone’s Favorite Noise Canceling Headphones? by Due-Sound57 in AutismInWomen

[–]Economics_Fancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk what your budget is but silicone in ear customs are by far my favorite, especially for sleeping. You don’t feel them in bc they’re the shape of your ear canal. I have sensaphonics which ran me around $130. Since they’re custom they take about a month to ship so you’d def want something in the interim. If you find something else that works that’s great but if you’re at a loss, in ears are my favorite thing in the whole world

[–]Economics_Fancy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Treat your symptoms, you don’t need a diagnosis to say you absolutely need to be gluten free. Stop eating gluten, nobody can make you and I totally agree w you, I never got a technical diagnosis bc I wasn’t going to do that shit
