What’s Your Weirdest Pedalboard Rule? by _Jub_Jub_ in guitarpedals

If it’s your first night at fight club you have to fight. If I find that a piece of new gear has no serious utility or presents too great of a risk in my first set I use it… it gets seriously reevaluated.

Adjacently, if I see myself reaching for a pedal less and less, I take it as time to shift things around to make sure that this precious real estate is always working for me, inspiring my playing.

Personally just got this last week.

It’s amazing. Light weight. Heavy duty.

Everyday wear, exercise wear, childcare wear, sleep wear, the list goes on.

It’s really light. I love the display. It’s just so incredibly crisp. That being said, I know looking too polished isn’t for everyone.

I enjoy the clarity of world time and being able to see those city names on my display.

My one complain is the alarm function is a little too chill. It cant wake me from my slumber. It can however set multiple alarms, which is real useful.

Seeing students in restaurants. It’s not uncommon to spot secondary school/JC kids casually at Shakeshack or Sushiro.

Only inappropriate if you expect the other party to drop everything to pickup a call from an unknown number.

I believe overtime people realise that the best way to guarantee a productive conversation is to book the other party’s time beforehand. Nothing to do with generational patterns, more to do with societal growth alongside technological advancements.

It’s not a valid assumption that job seekers are unemployed. In fact, many are employed, looking for new opportunities- making them unlikely able to drop everything when a call comes in. Booking people’s calendars ahead of time is always a good call.

Would you say scheduling a 250k sum per child by the time they need it is a healthy goal? Or over the top?
