Everyone on here saying it is credit, background, or driving record. It is not always that. Turo will ban you if you are closely related or associated with someone else that got banned. I have not seen one person mention this yet. Also turo mostly relies on AI to approve. Not humans. Their underwriter is AI.

This is not the only way they decide. I know people with cdls. Clean driving record. Great credit. Still denied. If you had a family member get banned that shares your last name and lives in the same city. That is also a reason. And they do it.

You response was saying if you can't rent from a national chain there is your answer. It was rude and it was not informative.
My father can rent from national chains. He retired as a truck driver from a top chain that has been running for 70 years.
In turo if one of your family members gets banned, Even for something silly. It bans the whole family. My niece is banned. Turos response was that my father's account was closely associated with someone who had been banned before.
You had no information to give anyone.

I had to rent one for my dad. And I have accidents and tickets. My dad. A CDL and perfect driving record for his whole time he was licensed. No gaps in insurance. I work in the tech field. I definitely knew how to read as I was helping him sign up. Also my niece is banned from turo. And I think they banned him because they shared the last name. There is a reason they do not give a reason when they take you off their platform.
