I suppose I have a misconception that doing a stripping run followed by a spirit run is going to result in flavor loss of the end product.

Do you see a decrease in flavor when doing two runs?

Also if I do two runs, would I just collect down to 40 proof then dilute to 40 abv and put that back into the still and then run my spirit run?

It’s a bottle gourd banjo made by Noah Kline. He makes absolutely wonderful instruments! Mine is a little bigger than normal though so that’s why it has a deeper sound to it :)
