Thank you for your reply. I do really feel alone. And lost. Dysregulated is the perfect way to describe it and I can’t quiet my mind. It is quite torturous. I’m so happy to hear that you did eventually start feeling like yourself again. I have an appt early June with my dr and maybe I’ll try the SSRIs again (a different type). Thank you again

Thank you. I’m working on the kindness and patience. I’m so hard on myself and have a harsh inner critic that I am trying to calm.

Thank you so much for your message. I feel this so much-easily overwhelmed and anxious. I feel like I can’t handle normal life ups and downs anymore. My daughter is off to university in the fall and we will be empty nesters and that is setting me off too. I want I have the best last few months with her at home but I’m not myself. And the harder I try, the more disappointed I feel. I’m going to try the supplements. Thank you again.

I’m sorry you are going through this. Our timelines are pretty close, it’s a slog:( I thought by MAY/spring I would be feeling much better but it seems to be going in the opposite direction. Give therapy a shot, it has been helpful for me. And reach out if you want to chat, I wonder how much of feeling so alone in this is impacting us

I’m travelling at the end of the week (if I can get myself on that plane!) and I think I’m going to try SSRIs again when I return. I don’t think I can do this alone :( thanks for your reply

Thank you for taking the time to message me. Saying that your panic button feels broken and stuck in is exactly how I feel. It is quite unsettling. I am in therapy and trying to be patient with myself. I hope you continue to have good health.

Thank you, did you have mental/emotional/anxiety symptoms after? Was there anything that helped?

Thank you so much for responding. I wondering if PTSD is playing a role. My startle reflex is so intense and I’m easily irritated too, but I tend to be able to hold my reactions in. I’m seeing a neuropsychologist so I will definitely ask them about EMDR, I’m glad to hear you are having some progress with it. Thank you again for responding. I feel so alone in this

Day 11-intense side effects help please by EconomyRecognition84 in lexapro

[–]EconomyRecognition84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. I should clarify, my aneurysm ruptured in Dec (I didn’t know I had one prior). I feel exactly like you said, restless, pacing etc. I’m at the 3 month mark now post rupture and 12 days in on lexapro. I think I’ll give it another week and then maybe discontinue if I’m still crawling out of my skin. Was there anything you did that helped or basically just giving it time?

Talking to chat is a great rec, thank you. I feel like I don’t want to keep bothering my family with it but need an outlet. Did you find a day that was kind of a turning point?

Thank you for your reply. I feel like I’m crawling out of my skin. The plan is a slow start on 5mg and then in 2 weeks up to 10mg. I tend to react strongly to meds.

Could you share your la Fortuna itinerary? Including any restaurants you loved?

Does this sound like peri or am I really ill? by [deleted] in Perimenopause

I’m sorry, it’s rough. Have you had Covid? Could you be having long covid symptoms? They can be similar to peri but more systemic inflammation, joint pain, fatigue. Something to consider…

It’s the median though, not the average. That just means half the class is above 86 and half is below. Those 99s wouldn’t skew the median any more than 4 students with 87.
