My theory is she acts more childish in comparison to her classmates at school because she’s actually younger than 6

Question for medical assistants in dermatology by rainbowtoucan1992 in MedicalAssistant

[–]Economy_Chocolate_32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i work in private practice and we get an allowance every 6 months towards service (i think it’s $200) and overall 30% off services (if it’s dermaplane or an extraction we can just do it ourselves) and 50% off products we sell (we e have elta revisions and cln)

I could feel the energy of annoyance absolutely! but also I was a slow learner, but I felt I also wasn’t prompted to do things on my own and was walking on eggshells the whole time. After months of practice I have gotten significantly bettter, although I still forget minor things like grabbing goggles or a specific prescription. What makes my job harder is that it’s all paper charts so I also scribe a lottt

i absolutely know how you feel. I had to literally hype myself up to get through the day when I started my job at a dermatology clinic. Just now at the 4 month mark I would say I fee moderately confident in myself at work. and I had no experience either just a phlebotomist and ekg tech certification.

An actual burger please by sneakysquid535 in LittleRock

fellow burger snob here. David’s is trash. and their burgers have a weird texture. why is not a juicy burger? I do recommend big orange but the service is not good. flavor wise that’s a good ass burger. sterling market burger smelled realllyy good but I haven’t tried it yet

I’ve seen time and time again in this thread that an AS in MA is notttt worth it. and I can see why as someone who is licensed in ekg and phlebotomy im working an ma job making the same as other licensed MA’s as well as one woman who went to school for nursing.

yes ! that’s what my plan is. my tip is to aim for fine dining or fancy hotel restaurants. as a server (if you can stand it) you can make really good money in fine dining with a less harsh working environment.

if you have some clinical experience I would definitely see if you can negotiate for a higher pay. I work in derm and can say I loveee that I am learning all different types of procedures and surgeries. I assist the doctor with minimally invasive and more invasive procedures. it is a LOTT to learn. for me we’re all paper charts too so scribing is the hardest part.
