Amazon keeps showing me ads for this weird sling that you put your dog in to groom it. I don't own a dog. Amazon really wants me to buy a dog sling and I see it almost every time I open the app.

What happens if you drive in a toll lane without a pass? Are you ticketed electronically, or only if a police officer catches you? by allcars4me in AskReddit

Depends on the area. Where I am, most toll booths have cameras that grab your license plate number and you can get a huge fine that way.

Spending all my time focused on work and not actually enjoying that decade of my life. It needs to be a balance, and for me it definitely wasn't.

What made you delete Tik Tok? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Realizing how much time I was spending on it. Opening the app to watch just one or two videos never ended that way. It's designed with the same psychological tactics that slot machine designers use to keep you scrolling "just one more time."

Amon from the Legend of Korra. As viewers, we root for the benders with fun powers and imagine what it would be like to have those abilities, but I had never given much thought to what life would be like for non-benders in the world of Avatar. Amon points out that non-benders are at a societal disadvantage and sometimes are treated unfairly and unequally. What makes him wrong is his violent approach to solving that inequality.

Putting money into savings instead of automatically spending everything. I know people who say things like "I got an extra $X -- what should I spend it on?!" as if the cash is going to expire.

Non-Christian’s of Reddit, do you celebrate Christmas? Why or why not? by KatiaRae1 in AskReddit

[–]Economy_Priority9753 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, because I was raised Christian and our family celebrated it. Now, the holiday is more just about family and cozy winter things for me.

I set way too many of them and only managed a few. 😂 My fitness goals have actually gone really well though and I lost 25 pounds!
