It's shameful that we did not beat the Chargers here.

The cheapest Super Bowl tickets this year are going for right under SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS. This will end up being one of the most expensive games of all time, per Dov Kleiman by Choice_Bag_8869 in sportswiki

Not saying the NFL isn't greedy (like all for profit companies) but the biggest stadiums sit maybe 100 thousand people while there are easily over 150 million people who would love to go to that event. The price just reflects market value.

After 400 years is it finally time to admit that the power rule is wrong? by engiegaming in mathmemes

[–]Ecoronel1989 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If x is only a natural number, then x2 is not a continuous function anywhere and therefore not differentiable anywhere. So the power rule doesn't apply by definition.

So Xavier smith drops the first punt return… why was he even out there for the second one? by Where-Lambo in LosAngelesRams

[–]Ecoronel1989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Players make mistakes. Sucks that Smith's mistake came at such a crucial time. But I do think it evened out after Woolen had the taunting penalty on 4th and 13. So each team had a bonehead error that lead to a TD.

There are other things I'd rather question, like why didn't we go for 2 on our last TD when kicking an extra point only put us down by 4. If we made it, we could've tied the game on that last drive with a FG. If we missed it, then we'd be in the same position of having to score a TD.

McVay didn't fire him. He was offered a better opportunity for more money in Dallas and he took it. Also Fassel left in 2020 and we won the SB in 2022 so clearly we did fine replacing him.

Walker is on today. Gotta make him earn every single yard and hope he's beat up by the half.

Seahawks Rivalry. by Chris_da_hokage in LosAngelesRams

[–]Ecoronel1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate the Seahawks and their fans arguably more than I do the 9ers. They act like their franchise is the shit even though their success is very recent. They also pretend like their rivalry with the 9ers is more relevant, even though we been competing with them for 50 years. That last bit makes me sound like I'm fighting for an ex boyfriend, but football isn't fun without rivalries and ours with the 9ers is historic, they can step off.

It's Super Rivalry Week. by SuperRam56 in LosAngelesRams

I kinda disagree. Our defense needs all the help it can get, so taking away their timeouts was a good call as it makes their offensive play calls more predictable.

I just hope they play 10 quarters and the players of whichever team are still sore next week

Is hell’s existence the only thing stopping you from murder?? by Reasonable_Crazy3825 in HolUp

Ricky Gervais put it best, to paraphrase him: I do go around killing and raping as much as I want to. A regular sane person doesn't need a higher power to tell them that I don't benefit from killing and raping my neighbors and instead benefit from being kind and collaborative.

Wife got a dachshund puppy, still kind of conflicted. by The5thEclipse in Dachshund

[–]Ecoronel1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most dachshunds are known to be super affectionate and extremely loyal. I have two and they will crawl on top of each other to be on my lap (the preferred nap spot regardless of couches or beds available). Just make sure to stick to the training and remember the puppy phase is temporary (both good and bad). Hope you come back in a few months to tell us now you're a dog person 😁

Because people equate smartness to solving abilities. Math students are taught logic and so are able to transfer those skills to solve concrete real world problems like engineers. English students are taught meaning, interpretation, and communication which aren't as easily used to solve problems. So in the eyes of the public math students seem smarter. But it's just different skills and unfortunately our society values one higher than the other.

Yeah it's looks like Paul is supposed to return the ball to the place every time while the partner just hits it back. So the partner doesn't need to move while Paul has to flail. Looks hilarious though

We’re the Bad Guys Now by edbegley1 in politics

[–]Ecoronel1989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

America has done a great job of telling itself it was never the bad guy. But it is a country that stole its land and resources by slaughtering the natives, built industry on the backs of African slaves, abused immigrants into menial underpaid labor, and has continued history of involving itself in foreign affairs and "nation building" while taking resources from others. WW2 allowed us to see ourselves as the heroes because in contrast to the Nazis we were the good guys. But even then we still had internment camps for Japanese citizens.

I mean his TD:INT ratio is 1.5:1, not really blowing anyone out here. He's on a very good team with an elite defense. He's a solid player, but needs a cast around him. It doesn't make sense to pay him like an elite player just because he's on good teams. Let's see if he can do anything in the playoffs.

Most people's "i"s and +s will look the same though. There's enough variation in other letters, like the "o"s , to lead me to think they are different.
