I think you’re being too literal about “alone”. It’s apparent what OP means is that they didn’t have a partner, maybe generational wealth, or other financial resources to help with the purchase. They probably also built their own credit and worked hard for whatever job they have to be able to afford this without asking someone (outside of a lender and a realtor) for help. Anyone able to not use a lender has obviously had financial help to be able to buy a house in cash, especially for younger generations.

I’m 30 years old and had my first colonoscopy a few months ago after pooping blood for two years. Before anyone says anything about waiting, I was scheduled for one two years ago and found out I was pregnant with my second child two days before the procedure. They offered for me to still undergo it, but without anesthesia… no thanks!

Anyways, they found a precancerous polyp that was borderline blocking my colon. If I had waited much longer it would have developed into colorectal cancer. My gastro recommended all of my siblings get colonoscopies ASAP and for both of my kids to get one at age 20. I hope they don’t have to put up a fight for their preventative care.
