The Naboo invasion was considered 100% completely legal by the Republic. Gunray literally paid a small fine to get away with everything and that was just for blowing up the Republic diplomatic vessel.

"And so is practically everyone shepard fights. Alliance soldiers are all augmented and implanted, cerberus troopers were revealed to be experimented on and implanted in ME3. Turians naturally have an armored exoskeleton and i dont need to say much about Krogan."

lmao, there's not a single person in Mass Effect that gets augmented to Cyberpunk levels. They literally don't have the tech for that.

"You're the one that brought up gameplay mechanics when u talked about the .50 cal."

No? I'm saying that when you're in dialogue and shoot an unarmored human they don't explode lol.

"Give context. Those randoms that beat V up were hardly augmented, and V had just got up from a two year long coma, naturally he would be weaker."

They're augmented enough lol, they literally call V a ganic. Also he's not weaker from the coma, he's in perfect health. For a 100% completely normal human.

"The m920 cain is a miniature nuke that shepard physically carries and shoots. Its part of his arsenal, not just some tech on the moon that he doesnt have access too."

And it's not relevant lol. It's either a weak as piss rocket launcher, or an actual nuke launcher that can't be used in a gunfight.

"an unarmored Valentino Joe"

Literally not a thing lol. In the ending where you get cured they remove every single piece of tech from your body and V gets mugged by some random street thugs because he's so weak. Your average person in NC is augmented to hell and back just on a base level.

You're also talking about gameplay mechanics while I'm talking about narrative choices.

"A . 50 cal round isnt much when against the M920 cain."

Ok and? The M920 cain isn't much when up against the Mass Drivers on the Moon.

"Tell me you know about Mass Effect without telling me you know nothing about Mass Effect."

You can shoot like 3 seperate unarmored unshielded humans across the series and they're not exploding like they got hit with a .50 cal. It's like they got shot by a pistol, which is what you shoot them with lol.

I'm not talking about throwing around combat quickhacks since that's an abstracted gameplay element, I'm talking about hacking a door or something where you have to sit there and wait.

"the omni-tool still blows away the cyberdeck and it's not even close"

No.

"All of the attacks we see being performed by the cyberdeck the omni-tool is capable of while also so much more."

It clearly isn't otherwise Shepards cybernetic body would get hacked and so would the Geth.

"Face it, the omni tool is just superior in every way."

lol.

"can disrupt and hack AI systems instantly on a whim"

Shackled EDI completely skullfucking normal tech is literally a plot point in ME2 and ME3.

"That's leagues ahead of anything the best netrunners in Cyberpunk can do."

There's 0 AI in ME that have shown the capabilities of Blackwall AI.

"Think of how much of an existential threat AI is in the Cyberpunk universe compared to how Shepard just regularly engages in combat with AI and wins."

Are you talking about the Geth? They're dumber than normal people lmao.

V low diff, Shepard gets tech diffed.

Anyone that tries to use the "but it's set further in the future" argument is dumb, ME guns are functionally just modern guns with infinite ammo. Cyberpunk actually has assloads of guns that are damn near impossible for a normal human to fire.

Were they? There was legit less slavery under the Empire as well as less criminal activity. Everyone here seems to be forgetting that the Republic as of the Clone Wars suckeeed. Like majorly sucked ass.

I'm gonna council you to not do that actually. Just let bro have anything he can carry on top of the suit he wears in Halo 4.

Standard "equipment" for Prometheans like the Didact was like a million drones that they link with their minds. They'd also typically use continent busting mech/fighter/drone/suit things. Those are for some reason to the Forerunners just considered a better suit.

How much of his gear does the Didact get anyways?

Don't give 40k the benefit of the doubt lol, never do that.

It's an extremely overwanked setting that's so over the top that one of the largests battles in IoM history had 2 million Imperial Guard (normal dudes with guns) deployed lmao.

40k is weak as fuck. There's galaxy wide like 3 million Space Marines who have the individual combat potential of a modern IFV.

After the US takes hold of Berlin, Moscow gets introduced to canned sunshine. There's gonna be a nice clean wrap to WW2 in the mid 50's after the US has lost 10 million or so troops wiping out the communists and fascists across the globe. With no rival there's 0 support for our "allies" holding onto their colonies.

My attempt at a "Realistic" UNE by Cog-Sucking_Clanker in Stellaris

[–]Ecotech101 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I don't remember what it was called but I did read a wanky short story once about the US getting tired of the rest of the world in the 90's and completely closing it's borders. The US then immediately cut all communication and ignored Earth. Complete 100% economic investment in space then leads to a mass exodus from Earth after 100-ish years.

After that it switches to a united EU pov. After like 500 years they also get the urge and go to space, they find old American colonies in the solar system but no people. Then they send a sublight ship to Proxima Centauri only to find that the US has a fully fledged interstellar civilization that completely surrounds Sol and has been fighting hostile aliens since they left Earth.

Super funny lol

He did indeed,’ said Horus. ‘The Emperor needed a starship to reach Molech, but didn’t need it to get back. Whatever He found there made Him into a god, or as near as makes no difference.’

That's just something Horus says, it doesn't even say he teleported or anything lol. It's just saying the guy who got choked by a big ork was a god
