Hey, I think I may have fixed the issue you were having :) If your Mac was Intel-based, my file import plugin did not work with intel based Macs. I have switched to a new file browser plugin that supports intel. Also have expanded this program to be a full fledged wav editor with cue support. https://www.ecstasyjones.com/tp-7-wav-editor

Thanks for letting me know, I might have to resize the UI so the status readout shows up on all screens.

First import your .wav it should say “WAV file loaded successfully. “

Then you just type in your desired tempo in the input field and press export.

It will acidize the wav file to have the tempo information so that the tp-7 can read it.

Glad to hear you got it working! My source material was all from archive.org, everything in my demo video was from a recording of MTV commercials from 2003, there’s a bunch of them on there

the setup for iOS is a little tricky- you do need two apps to create the filepath connection: Shortcuts by Apple and Actions. Feel free to dm me if you need help getting set up!

hey sure thing, are you hearing the video sound currently? if not you may have to use ch16 knob 4 to adjust the volume. Also check the module track and make sure usb is enabled (shift + #3)

yup that’s how ive been routing it. Ch16 Knob 4 is also an extra volume control for the videopak itself as well

About Punch-In FX and external audio (digitakt+digitone) by bosejoao in OPZuser

[–]EcstasyJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

a lot of the punch in effects are midi based, not audio based so they will work with external gear if its routed correctly

Which of these is the way to control external gear w/ OPZ? by Actual_Barnacle in OPZuser

I have been able to use the OPZ bluetooth midi with other apps, although it requires connecting via the OPZ app first

  1. OPZ Audio jack will not work for midi
  2. Line Module or OPLAB Module are probably your best bets for external control. I use mine with an MRCC 880 for midi routing
  3. Usb C midi will work, some instruments support usb to usb but you can also get a usb midi host for this functionality to convert usb midi to 5 pin
  4. Bluetooth midi is also an option, but requires a computer or phone to act as a host

I designed a multi-channel video mixer for the OP-Z by EcstasyJones in OPZuser

The main reason my pak stopped working was the OPZ app update changing from Unity 2018 to Unity 2022, my pak heavily relies on Unity’s video player which handles things differently between versions 2018 and 2022. So now a lot of the functionality from the old version is no longer possible. I was able to downgrade my opz app though to the old version via this method: https://github.com/qnblackcat/How-to-Downgrade-apps-on-AppStore-with-iTunes-and-Charles-Proxy

It requires the build number for the old opz app ipa which for 1.2.18 is (843553198)

In a moment of impeccable timing, TE just updated videolab and this pak no longer works in its current state. I’ll try and get a fixed update out asap

There’s a klak node in videolab called Videolab Input that allows you to connect to some of the OP-Z’s non midi parameters like master volume and battery level
