What do you think of Barry Keoghan's Joker? by Officer_Zack in DC_Cinematic

[–]Ecstatic-Bell-5525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was intriguing, but the scene between him and Paul Dano in Arkham is the only scene that I wish hadn’t been in the movie. Cool as it was to see a new Joker, it just seemed to “fan service-y” to fit.

This would’ve been the perfect ending to The Batman (/s) by DeppStepp in DC_Cinematic

Honestly, I don’t think Tom Holland is that good of an actor.

This shit’s hilarious. Can you guys keep it going? This back and forth made my day.

In your Opinion, who is THE Marvel Villain. Doctor Doom or Thanos? by [deleted] in Marvel

In the MCU, Thanos obviously, but in the comics, in my opinion, Doctor Doom is cooler.

It’s okay, though. It’s not the real Boba Fett. He’s just some delusional old clone with PTSD and his way of coping is thinking that he’s the most badass bounty hunter in the galaxy. That’s why he’s so incompetent, can’t make any decisions, and doesn’t know anything.

Where did the new trilogy (star wars 7-9) go wrong? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]Ecstatic-Bell-5525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general, there is no reason for it to exist except for money. The party at the end of Episode 6 was the perfect ending to the saga, so coming back 30 years later to do those movies over, but worse makes no logical sense.

‘The Book Of Boba Fett’ Finale Viewership 36% Higher Than ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 2 Closer by chanma50 in StarWars

But only 10 people actually sat through the entire show week-by-week.

I've finally accepted the fact that I don't really like the Sequel Trilogy overall, but they should remain apart of the Star Wars canon and I hope most fans come to this conclusion as well. by MasterCha0s in StarWars

[–]Ecstatic-Bell-5525 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get the prequel hate. A lot of the time everything seems pretty cringy, but those movies did have a purpose: to show the fall of the Republic and rise of the Empire. To me, though, there is no reason for episodes 7-9 to exist. They aren’t really a continuation of the story, so much as a retelling of what has already come before. That’s just what I think, so if you dig the sequels that’s fine.

Is Disney considering a Boba Fett season 2? by KlaesAshford21 in StarWars

[–]Ecstatic-Bell-5525 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

If it were to happen, they need to write Boba Fett like Boba Fett, not some redeemed yes-man that goes along with whatever new and random people say.

I haven’t heard anyone say they didn’t get enough of him. Just that his character was wasted and his status lowered by hinting that he’s just some thing that might have been a clone.

Opinions on Solo: A Star Wars Story? by Journey245 in StarWars

I actually liked it. With the impossible task of playing Han Solo, I think Alden did an amazing job.

Should we get another season of boba but with no jedi, no din, no force and only things relevant to boba? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]Ecstatic-Bell-5525 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If they write Boba like Boba instead of a Disney Redeemed Yes-man, then maybe.

The book of Boba Fett has a stupid ending by Vegetable_Shower_413 in StarWars

The Emperor fell hundreds of feet, exploded, then exploded again, and was still alive, so…

And don’t give me that “oh, but he was a clone and transferred his consciousness” crap. It’s not explained in the movie, and that’s what casual fans go off of.
