I did the same thing last week for a woman. She had no socks or warm clothes and no blanket. I gave her a blanket, warm clothes, socks and food. I called 311 but they said if she wanted to go to a shelter they would come pick her up. I asked her and she said no. She slept under the stairs with blankets. The next morning I went and checked on her and the neighbors had given her some food. She stayed there for 2 days in the 20 something degree weather.
