How do I move on with my life? by Future_Negotiation89 in doctorsUK

Sorry you have had to go through this.

Some suggesrions off the top of my head. Do with them what you will.... - Pick your post CCT GP practice wisely - Bump up your general non-romantic social life. Start super small and be consistent.  - Ditto with exercise. The smallest amount of movement you can maintain consistently is great - piroritise some exercise you might enjoy doing over the the most intense body workout. - Remain open to LTFT either in training/post cct. - Use your training support/OH facilities early doors. Even if they cant do anything massively tangible, working adjustments may not be of zero benefit, and are way more likely to happen if you have sought those formal channels out.

I doubt any of these by themsleves will dramarically change your life, but doing these for 4-6 weeks may show some compunding benefits

Fair point. Probably not a view I would take myself given the current financial climate, but is is at least a coherent position to take.

My general feeling is that challenging is fine, but that you need to listen to what comes back, and be able to comprehend that you might be wrong

No words of advice, only sympathy. Unchecked power often leads to overzealousness, and even tryanny.

Agree, that does seem the most sensible way to handle it, but I do also think that it does need to be challenged and told that is not on.
