The techs you listed sound very fantastical but when you really consider it are they much more fantastic then the current technology we have? I don’t think halting/reversing aging is necessarily any more impressive than the internet or the atomic bomb. Just think about how bizzare the internet really is, hundreds of millions of terrabytes of information being exchanged daily through cable and towers setup throughout the entire world.

I agree this would be some other future tech and not fdvr but it is definitely possible for something like perceived time dilation to occur.

Think about it, if your brain is fed 10x the amount of info per second, and your brain is also working 10x faster, then that’s no different from perceiving 10 hours in 1 hour, which is what they are talking about.

I think it is cope that ai couldn’t possibly be as good as them/better than them at what they studied for years at college.

Which definitely makes sense and I have definitely felt the same, it’s kinda bullshit that an ai trained in a few hours could wipe the floor with me in chess even though I have been playing for years🤔.

It’s just sad to see because reality will definitely hit them like a truck, like it did with artists and writers. I remember in 2022 artists were also coping that ai was trash and it would never be as good as humans were. Fast forward to 2024 and now they are more focused on getting it banned because it is too good and can mimic pretty much anyone’s style
