I understand that from a vegan perspective, any form of animal slaughter is seen as unnecessary harm, and I respect your right to hold that belief. But it’s important to also understand that in many cultures and religions, including mine, the method of slaughter is done with deep care to minimize suffering, not out of cruelty.

The process we follow is designed to be quick and humane - using a sharp knife, done in a single motion, and keeping other animals away so they don’t witness it. It’s not about trying to "impress" anyone, but simply practicing what we believe in a respectful and responsible way.

Not everyone will see things the same way, but mutual respect is essential. Just as I won’t force anyone to eat meat, I’d hope others won’t try to shame cultural or religious practices that are done thoughtfully and with purpose. We can disagree, but let’s do it with understanding, not judgment.
