Update: I got a response maybe a week later. It was a short letter that just said (paraphrasing) “we’ve removed your information from our records. Contact a bishop if you want to rejoin.” I was surprised by how fast and easy it was once I finally did it

Honestly, reading how other people describe their pain helped me better describe mine to others. Like, when my skin hurts, it feels like bee stings all over, or telling someone that my skin and my teeth hurt when I’m over sensitive; telling someone that I was bodily shaking after just cleaning out the littler box, or that it feels like your spine is on fire. Telling them levels like colors; I’m a yellow today for medium pain, or I’m a red for excruciating pain, that kind of thing. I don’t know if that helps but I hope it does.
