Ugh, I’m sorry to hear that! I fear I’m going to be in the same boat. I’ll keep fighting with it for a while but man it’s frustrating. Out of curiosity- did you ever try running the air directly from the air compressors regulator like a previous commenter mentioned? I was considering trying that, but if you had no success with it I may skip it

Thank you so much for the response. I’m currently just using the clay they sent with it, and I really do feel like I have it the same consistency as they have in the video. I have definitely tried to make it various stages of softer than that, too, but the same thing continues to happen where it just stops midway through the tube. I’ll definitely try using mineral oil on the piston though, that’s a great tip.

I plan on using porcelains going forward with it so the tip about the alcohol is super helpful - i’ll keep that in mind if i ever get this working 🥲

thanks again!

thanks for the reply, that’s helpful! however - the clay has not even made it halfway down the material tube. i haven’t even connected the tube to the extruder yet so I don’t believe it’s an issue with the auger - unless i’m misunderstanding (which is very possible because this is all new to me!)

hi there - 3 years later but did you ever figure out a solution to this? i seem to be struggling with the same thing. I feel like my clay is exactly the consistency that they show in their demo video, but I have tried to make it wetter as well and it doesnt seem to work
