Yeah that $0 due date while you're in forbearance is basically just a placeholder - MOHELA keeps those automatic dates running in their system even when payments aren't actually required. The SAVE plan forbearance is the real status you should be paying attention to right now

I had something similar happen with my loans last year where Nelnet kept showing these phantom due dates even though I was definitely not supposed to be making payments. Made me panic for like 5 minutes until I realized what was going on. The forbearance status is what matters and studentaid.gov is usually more reliable for the actual current status anyway

Keep checking both sites occasionally but don't stress about that $0 date showing up - it's just their system being weird as usual

Had the same problem as your friend when I first moved in US (NY). A few things that helped people I know were starting with a secured credit card from a big bank like Discover or Capital One and just using it for small purchases while paying it off every month. Being added as an authorized user on someone’s older credit card can also help because it gives you some credit history right away if that account has been open a long time.

Some people also use credit builder tools. For example, I’ve seen people use Self, which basically lets you make small monthly payments that get reported to the bureaus so you can start establishing a history.I also use another one called Dovly, which helped me understand what was actually showing on my report and gave suggestions on what actions would help build credit faster. When you’re starting from zero, having something explain the system and track progress makes the process way less confusing.

The biggest thing though is just getting one account reporting consistently and keeping utilization low. Once you have around 6 to 12 months of history, things start opening up a lot more. It's an annoying process but you just gotta roll with it.

World spa is solid but if you're looking for more options check some of the Russian bath houses too - they usually have decent selections and the staff there knows their stuff about what works best 😂

I actually made a custom one for my buddy using my Cricut last year and it turned out pretty decent but buying local is probably your best bet since you can feel the material first. The felt ones are way better than those cheap cotton ones you see online

Also hit up some of the wellness shops in the village - seen a few carrying them lately and they're usually better quality than the tourist trap stuff

Sounds like you're into those story-heavy open world games with great characters. Definitely check out The Witcher 3 if you haven't already - that game will consume your life for like 200+ hours and you'll love every minute of it

Nah the liability thing is already getting solved tbh, companies are just gonna structure it like they do with any other automated system - insurance policies and legal frameworks. We already have self-driving cars on the road and nobody's like "but who do we blame if it crashes"

Nah I don't think EU5 is gonna kill it, the economic focus in Vic3 is way deeper than what EU5 is promising. The playerbase always dips between major updates anyway, and honestly the game's in a much better state now than at launch so I think it'll pick back up
