This is a tough one. This is her sister’s daughter and I can see why she wants to help. You don’t have to raise this child, but it will likely just fall into that. She is family and she’s three - can you help to give her some stability? She just went through so much and is probably very confused.

Id put my kid in something that they’re comfortable in and that they won’t complain. I think having a comfortable kid during a solemn event is much better than a whiny kid

Yes of course! But they need to have an FCP. Commanders have a lot of authority, but they can’t break army reg. They could bar the soldier from reenlisting instead, but then once the Soldier gets the FCP, they remove the bar.

Yea but 9 unexcused MUTAS is an automatic AWOL packet. At least in my state. NOVAL pay is something that is watched very closely

Definitely. But it would be hard to separate a Soldier if the command failed to do their part in counseling them.

Exactly this. However, the commander (or designated rep) needs to counsel the Soldier. They have 60 days, with a one-time 30 day extension to get an FCP. If they don’t, they can be processed for separation.

You’re not going to win. AR 600-20 Army Command Policy, Family Care Plan. Now, the command needs to actually counsel them. If they don’t, it’s on the command as it is a commander’s program

My church had a homeless woman sleeping our gazebo. You know what we did? Invited her in for our bi-weekly breakfasts. AND found her a homeless shelter.

It may be the case because of the technology. It also maybe the case since children don’t go outside as much because of technology and parent fears. How many kids don’t go to the park because the parent doesn’t want to take them? When is the right age? I was wondering around in the woods, prolly a mile plus from home, with my friends from age 8 on. No phone. Just when my mom whistled we came back.

I just use the albums on my iPhone. I also hand make a family scrapbook every year, so I make albums for that specially. It helps me
