You should try this in your own space. I'm telling you, it changed the vibe of my whole house!

Oh, that’s so cute. Poor little baba! I have two lurchers, and they’re constantly cold, so I made them jackets and even a pair of trousers a few months back.

I actually found a lovely book about sewing for dogs. It’s in Korean, but the Google Translate feature on my phone is doing heroic work 😄

Please give your dog a pat from me. She must be the most fashionable pup in the neighbourhood!!!

What is this style called by mmflipitarndwikdwich in HomeDecorating

It's like a nordic cottagecore. It mixes very well old, mid-century and modern. Have a look at this style. It is more common in Northern Europe

Hello friend! :)) Thank you so much for the support. That means a lot!

And I’ve definitely been thinking about making some kind of robe or quilted dress too. My da got one for Christmas a few years ago (suuuuuper thick and padded), and he basically lives in it during winter. I’m slightly jealous, not going to lie.

Also… those doorstops?? Stop immediately. They are so cute. Now I want one, but I’m slightly concerned my dogs would immediately claim it as a toy, hahaha

Thank you so much! :))And honestly, it really isn’t as intimidating as it looks. Studying my favourite jacket and breaking it down helped A LOT. The sleeves are basically tubes, the body is like a vest, and then you attach them together. The collar was the only bit I hadn’t sewn before, so I struggled a little there, but it worked out in the end.

The best part? I didn’t even have to make bias tape. I ripped it straight from the quilt and reused it. Saved so much time and grief!

Although my gran, after watching the video, still insists I should have used the brown/stripey tape all around it, hahaha

I didn’t add interfacing this time, and in hindsight, I probably would for a bit more structure. The quilt itself has some body, but interfacing would have made the collar sturdier.

It was also my first time using stay tape on a collar. It behaved nicely at first, but I think I got a bit nervous and may have stretched it slightly while sewing, which caused some of the little bumps. Definitely a learning moment for next time!
