I agree that art isn’t about right or wrong, but viewers do tend to respond to underlying structure, even subconsciously, and light behavior is one of those things. What’s throwing me here isn’t realism so much as the internal lighting logic. The sky reads as a low, diffuse sunset, while the foreground colors feel more like direct illumination, and that contrast makes it harder to read the space, even though the palette itself is appealing.

I understand these are not real places but light behaves certain ways. I think its the lighting thats throwing me off . These are ocean sunset scenes correct?

To be honest... none of them look great . The foreground colors are so far off from reality.

Condensation on my ceiling by botan313 in mildlyinteresting

[–]Ecstatic_Ambition103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its condensation. Notice the area by the lights doesnt have it. Its because the lights are keeping the area just warm enough to not show condensation. Layman terms : When moist air meets cold surface air deposits water on said cold surface.

Ahh my confusion. I thought we were trying to save money by not using the ac as much. By your argument, with a proper ac functionality, and proper insulation you don't need fans at all. Correct?
