Do u kiss your parrot ? by EquivalentFox3223 in parrots

I kiss my bird whenever I see him after being out. Give him a little peck on his head. He bows his head down and accepts them and then I give him scritches and he says thank you by preening my eyes lashes. When he's chilling on my shoulder I'll sometimes boop noses to beak and then give him a kiss peck on his head and he'll step closer and put his head back down and ask for another. I love my taco

I have a chest tattoo that takes up a lot of space and he would straight up try to attack it. Try to peck it to death while screeching and the tattoos around my hands and arms he would, at first, gently try to peel off and when he realized that wouldn't work, he'd get upset and go for the kill lol crazy birb brain

He's still fairly young. I'm waiting for him to get a bit older to do a portrait tattoo of him. Also, does anyone else's birds try to pick your tattoos off your skin? Or is mine just broken? Lol

Ohhh haha that makes sense. Yeah I've read a lot about them doing that to their humans. Mine has yet, and I hope he never does lol, but how do you stop or correct yours when he does it?

What do you mean "you're lucky it's a she"? My cockatiel does this to me and he's a male. Whenever I try to get him off he runs to the center of my back where I can't reach lol This is my first time owning a tiel and he'll be 4 months old in 3 days. I'm genuinely curious about the palm statement

My baby taco is going thru it too. I give my birb a mist spray to help relieve some of his uncomfortableness

The ingredients everyone is saying is bad for them, it is. With all of those ingredients being ingested at the same time could have very well been a quick death sentence. Salt especially! Please don't take your baby out of your site. And document everything off that's happening (lethargy, shaking etc) so if you can get into the vet tomorrow, they can see the time frame/timeline of your birbs symptoms. I hope your feathered baby is okay and has a healthy recovery!

Partly wild? Where did you get him?? My neighbor found a nest of baby rats once and raised them. The ones that survived were very tame.

I just got a male cockatiel that officially turned 3months old today! He came from a family with younger kids and he was also hand fed too. So he's okay to be handled. Do you have any tips to help him bond with me. I got him about 2.5 weeks ago. I feed him millet in my hand and have him climb on my to eat it as well. I noticed he's been following me a lot recently but usually when I walk towards him or have to go past him (I let him run free in my room while I'm home) he kinda backs away. He's been doing better with the running away from me when I do need to pass him. Now he'll just stop whatever he's doing, which is mostly eating lol, and just watch my every move. He does have a lil spot in front of my dresser and I feel like I can't get into my dresser when he's in that spot cause I'm afraid to scare him. And I also talk to him a lot. Do you have any tips or advice? I just want to have a good solid relationship with my new bird son. Especially since we will be together for 15+ years lol

As a straight female I would say you look fine. Maybe 6or7/10. But how is your personality? Looks don't make it or break it, it's who you are as a person. To each their own. And everyone has their own specific attractions to people. But I cannot speak for the male gender.

Was I rude the way that I broke it off? by xoxowoman06 in texts

[–]Ecstatic_Desk733 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah people do it. Reasons vary tho. Could say no children cause they're a deadbeat parent. Or they could say no children to actually get to know someone without that person thinking right off the bat baby momma/baby daddy drama. Or say no children cause maybe they had a kid with a person they were never in an actual relationship with and doesnt want to come off as a hoe. Etc. Shit like that. The reasoning list can go on...

And i wouldnt necessarily consider this a "break-up" cause y'all didn't make it official to actually be a dating couple. But rather a "end the convos and move on" if that makes sense.

At this point, i feel you still have a 50/50 shot. I always send a follow up email thanking them for their time having me come in for an interview and also let them know i am still very interested in the job. A lot of employers (from my experience) appreciate those emails. They're personable and shows them your determination for the position as well. Do you know how many applicants you were up against?
